Emanuel Augustus, otherwise known as Emanuel Burton was the greatest journeyman I ever saw.

What a fighter this guy was, tremendously talented but due to bad luck & bad decisions goes down as a journeyman...

Anyone who saw this guy will know what I am talking about.

Spot on Dunky, far too good to be labelled as a journeyman though. Shame that when history looks back on him, unless you knew about him or had seen him fight you would believe him to be just that.

    ****ing tremendous fighter :good

Casey was a real character:lol: and Des used to go and roll a *** after weighing in. Paying for that habit now:-(
I liked Brian Coleman. Purely because he gave me my debut win:D

    Tony Booth by a mile.

Always tried to entertain the crowds and was a genuinly funny bloke.

In setanta doc the ref comes over to his corner and says 'you do realise this isn't a ****ing pantomime?' Booth looks up at him and replies 'Oh yes it is!' Classic.

Trained in the pub and would take a fight on hours notice.

Held some decent wins including 1 over Omar Sheikh.

At one point he held the most mins of any British fighter (over 50).

    Boxing Booth = Legend!!!

Laszlo Komjathy was a good gatekeeper/journeyman type.

A proper opponent, with a decent record, i.e. never loses to any shite and is rarely stopped.

That clip where he's getting abuse from the home fighters fans 'You fat batard. You fat *******' Tony plays up to em, does a funny dance, then sparks their man clean out. Absolute quality.

    Would love to see that.....

Just Boxrec'ing, Komjathy has 9 KO losses.... 2 of which are on cuts - including Lauri x 2, M'Baye, Maidana, Branco & Lee Meager..... and has extended Kotelnik & Jennings 8 rounds each and Khan 6.

    Not bad at all.

A bit different to the assortment of clowns that turn up at Frank Maloney shows lately.

Booth is a legend, even if that was in Southampton. I've never heard of Langdale.

I quite rate Komjathi, definitely a good european gatekeeper sort, saw him against Dean Harrison too, gave him a tough(ish) fight

I liked Baz Carey (on the fact that I've probably seen him live loads of times) his two fights with Steve Saville were 2 little mini wars
