Who can think of a fight where one is knocked out COLD but in a delayed reaction?

Some that come to mind... they are all instantly out:

    Marciano vs Walcott I:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9msELiZKyU[/ame]

    Lewis vs Rahman I: (2:22)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZN6ONCH7B0[/ame]

    Patterson vs Johansson II: (9:44)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MaeEtO5_ME[/ame]

    Peter vs Williams: (0:13)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1fgX1jAaqs[/ame]

    Abraham vs Taylor: (0:44)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrXgqFaLErI[/ame]

Abraham vs Gevor: (0:11) (sick KO by the way)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiGTFPRQbLU&feature=related[/ame]

    W. Klitschko vs Chambers: (3:14)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhKcVDfp9F8[/ame]

    Jones vs Johnson: (0:09)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0o0c8fXHp-4[/ame]

    Lewis vs Grant: (5:30)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emfS1S2SXkI[/ame]

    Tua vs Moorer: (0:20)

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlS82LC3fTo[/ame]

All of those guys were INSTANTLY out cold. So i'm wondering if anyone can show me a KO, and i'm really talking about the guy being out COLD, not a struggling-to-get-up type of KO, that was a delayed reaction?

You dont have to be out cold to be knocked out. When you lose your seneses 10 seconds is a blip in time. Are you actually trying to make a case for AA cheating.

Most of them weren't delayed, but they just went down slowly. They were out as soon as the punch landed though.

I think he is. Knocked out cold and cunccussive force are too different types of effect.

Concussion creaps throughout the entire body in seconds. It only takes a few seconds. And then every thing becomes wavy like you are underwater or something.

The energy inside of a body starts to kinda shift around and move on its own. Its weird. but the best way I can describe it in this post.

The perfect exemple (very similar to Dirrel-ABarham) is Jones-Griffin.

    around 13 second

he was certainly knocked out.. when you get hit while in the midst of a slip you would bug out and argue the point to the ref or get vexed and try to ****in smash him the face for hitting you when you are down... he came to and figures he got hit...he is down ..fight is over... he thought he got punched and knocked down like a flash knockdown

I saw someone run into a street lamp post once, he stayed up for a few seconds and even muttered something ilegilible, then passed out cold.

he went from the punch landing, to being flat on his back in 2 seconds

it would have been less, but his legs prevented him from falling to his right (where the punch should have sent him)

his body moved to the right, then to the left and down, all in 2 seconds

people need to just deal with the fact that he was KTFO

    You're right.
I dont see why people are doubting him.

As you note, when a fighter gets hit standing up he usually falls right away, even if he's just starting to feel the effect of the punch.
But with Direll being sat down, he just sits there dizzy for a second, falls into the rope then passes over to the side. Probably in the same time it would take to fall from upright standing to be flat on back.

Funny how some people are even arguing that there was a huge delay for Direll to get knocked out, but they act as if things were happening so fast that Abraham couldn't help himself throw the last punch. :D

yeah, i think its a combo of some people just disliking AD (heck, i'm not a big fan of his) and people watching the clip in slo-mo so much, they forget the real time

You also have to understand that Andre didn't have his legs underneath him to take some of the steam from AA's punches
