Props to Dirrell for outboxing Abraham more clearly than anyone before in the first nine rounds. He put on a great performance and visibly improved from the Froch fight. I would have loved to see the last four minutes of the fight, but I feel Dirrell would have had a very good chance finishing on his feet.

That said, he is one of the worst fakers in the ring I have seen in a while. How comes he slips that often if he is obviously more giften with coordination and footwork than Froch and Abraham who strangely didn't slip on the "water"? It seems like Dirrell tends to slip when he is in trouble.

The KO was about as blatant a fake as Hokpins' faking of low blow pain against Calzaghe. It looked eerily similar to Michalczewski's bull**** against Rocchigiani. Abraham hit him with some kind of a hook but with a strechted out arm, how much power could possibly be in such an arm swing? Especially considering that Dirrell took a few flush power punches from Abraham and Froch quite well.

So, I am NOT saying Abraham would have won. Dirrell was the better man in the ring. Two fights in a row though where was is the better man in the ring and put on a disgusting display of cheating.

I don't know what it is about Dirrell, but there's just something i don't like about him. I aint a Froch fan and i don't mind Abraham but i was rooting for them both to give him a beating. Maybe in time i'll come to like him, but by his performances of late, i aint much of a fan

I'm with you... there's something about Dirrell that really makes me want to see him get starched again...

Hopefully, next time it will be from a legal blow... and won't require his football-style, over acting bull****! :dead :|

Sorry,,, told ya I'm a Matrix Hater. :D

Yep, you said it. I think the way he was acting so ignorantly when he came face to face with Froch made me not like him to a certain degree. He is a great boxer, but slips way too much. Now, the slip right before he got hit while down was legit. The replay and real time proves that. But, what happened next is a mystery. Was it an act or was it real? I don't honestly know. None of you guys can honestly say that you KNOW either. I am leaning towards the faking department though, but again, I am unsure. What a terrible way for a great fight to end. Abraham was coming on strong and Dirrell was weakening. Do I think Abraham would've gotten the KO? I don't know, it's possible. Do I think Dirrell would've survived and won the decision? It's also very possible. I want to see a rematch. Go Abraham!

I just think that overall Dirrell needs to mature a little more as fighter, most importantly with the mental aspect of the sport. He's got all the tools and talent to be dominant but he lacks a bit of maturity, focus and mental strength to carry himself to another level.

u guys just dont get it. who would fake a ko KNOWING they are winning the fight COMFORTABLY and could win the fight without "fighting" for the next rd and a half. where is the logic in that. and what figher wouldn't want to finish the fight and get their hand raised KNOWING THEY WERE GOING TO WIN, opposed to winning via dq?

no way! why should he give a rematch to a dirty fight whom he proved without a shadow of a doubt that he can and did beat in an one sided affair?
