I just wanted to watch this again before I posted to make sure I got it as accurately as I could. After AA KO's Dirrell he turns to the ref and raises his hands in victory. He knew Dirrell was KO'd at that point. In the interview he says he KO'd Dirrell at on at least one occasion, maybe twice but the first time is a little garbled and there is the accent/language problem. He then goes to calling Dirrell an actor. :patsch

This is pretty definitive that AA thought he KO'd Dirrell. He has the experience to know. Anyone doubting Dirrell was KO'd, I'd suggest you go back and watch and listen.

For those thinking Dirrell should have taken the 5 minutes and continued? :patsch Just :patsch

What comes around goes around...doesn't it ? He'll get his chance to officially get humbled down the stretch.

He got the KO alright, but he lost that fight clearly.

Yeah. I'm just trying to show that AA says he KO'd Dirrell so that SHOULD put an end to that crap. He even raised his arms, albeit half way, signifying he thought he won. Maybe it was halfway because he realized he had done something wrong?

Any minds changed after you watched what I pointed out on whether Dirrell was KO'd or not?

    That doesn't make sense.

Why would he call Dirrell an actor if he though he had legitimately KOd him?

The "actor" came after he admitted that he KO'd him. That is the point. The people claiming he wasn't KO'd are going by the "actor" quote and ignoring where AA says he KO'd him and should have been the winner. The more it went on the more AA knew he was in the wrong and started clutching at straws.

That is why I'm asking people to go back and watch what AA does after the KO which is raise his arms in victory and then clearly states he KO'd Dirrell BEFORE switching to the claim that Dirrell was acting. AA clearly got caught and was looking for a way out with that line. After they showed him the replay it was all he had left.

I took him raising his hands as reacting to getting a knock down. But calling him an actor as Dirrell wasn't as hurt as he made himself out to be. He could of got back up but decided to act and persuade the ref. That's how I took the comment "He's an actor..."

I'm just dissapointed in the way it ended.

no he raised his hands as a way of being frustrated and to show it wasn't intentionally done, regardless if it was that was the impression i got outta it.

How could he be knocked out and not "as hurt as he made himself out to be"? AA clearly says in the ring post fight interview he thought he won by KO because Dirrell wasn't down. He was clearly KO'd and AA admitted that. That is the point of this thread. Go back and listen to the interview. If he was KO'd as AA says, he wasn't going to be in shape to continue. You simply cannot have this one both ways. You REALLY expect him to shake of a KO in 5 minutes and continue?

OK. What about his interview where he says he should have the KO win?

No matter what way you look at it you cannot take Abrahams comments as matter of fact regarding anything , a fight has been stopped they fought hard for eleven rounds , AAs head was cut , he had been knocked down, adrenelin was pumping, for gods sake a few moments before he stated that it was NOT an illegal punch and he doesnt speak English fully......

Lets wait for his next interview when his head is clear :good
