Rahman destroys Boldridge By Howard Jones Former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman (46-7-2, 37 KOs) made short work of Clinton Big Rig Boldridge (9-16, 7 KOs) in his long awaited return to the ring, knocking out Boldridge out in the final minute of the first round on Friday night at the Beaumont Club at the Kansas City, Missouri. Also rising cruiserweight star Jeremiah Graziano improved to 10-0 with 10 KOs knocking out Derrick Brown (13-5-3) in the second round of their bout. Look at Boldridge record people? Seriously Rahman could easily find a opponent with atleast a better record then 9 wins and 16 losses.
Rahman gonna beat about 4 more guys like this, then fight an oquendo type and then get a title shot, thats how it works, expect Bates, mollo etc
I don't understand the point of this fight? I mean, Rahman could have found better sparring partners than this guy, and trained on his own. Couldn't he have? (That is, unless he's out of $$$)
Saw the Graziano fight and the kid is wild but still very impressive...Brown went 12Rnds with Banks and 10 with Godfrey giving him a tough fight in 2007...Plus he holds a draw against Alfredo Escalara the same year...
No need to worry, word is Rahman fights Tua in June/July so long as Tua gets past Ahunanya tomorrow night (should do) Rahman will be getting KO'd
Eh, it's no big deal. If he wants to fight some bums to get some quick $ I don't care. He should at least fight some faded contenders or champs next IMO.
It was basically a live sparring session. They didn't even announce that Rahman would be fighting on the card, he just kind of showed up. I don't see what the big deal is. He's been out of action for a while, can't he just fight some nobody for the sake of practice?
