    actually if he does a flat out arm punch it could mean something. if this is a proper punch with proper technique then you're right it shouldn't matter. that doesn't mean that having big muscles doesn't help while throwing a straight right. it's mostly technique and how you throw it, but to discount muscle all together is different.

    i know big guys with feather fisted punches, im sure others here do also

    I agree. an arm punch can be as weak as a tap on the shoulder, it basically boils down to technique like you said.
