No real proof. A court of law could never have proven it. Where was the concern over Tito's hand wraps? No suspension either.
What part about the gauze pad being hard? What about Margarito's stating the pads / gauze were pre treated? What about the substance that was smeared on them? Sure it was never proven that it was plaster, but it was clearly proven Margarito's pads were an attempt to cheat.
Why would you say fair suspension when the suspension as written can have Margarito banned for life. If it turns out Margarito is never reinstated, you're ok with that if that was "anal cream" as you suggested?
Yes. because Margarito's manager stated they pre treated. How do you pre treat pads? And he's not banned for life. It's up to other commissions to make their choice. To me, there was a clear attempt to cheat.
How would how he wraps his hand affect how hard he throws a punch? He didn't do anything to his wraps except wrap them a special way
I praise Margo the hard working fighter in training camp but I loathe the cheating ******* with those damned wraps.
It was shown on TV how the way the hands were wrapped that it made the wraps much harder to a big advantage by Tito. Tito's knockout percentage went way down after that.
But w all due respect, Resto had less padding in his gloves not plaster. I honestly don't know that both incidents are that big of a difference but you know some cat will show up w a 2 page essay on how it does and why.
If I'm not mistaken, Resto in a recent docomentary where he opens up on the whole issue, said that besides the gloves being tampered with, his wraps were also plastered. .....and add to that, that Resto was also drinking the same stuff Panama Lewis was giving Aaron Pryor in his fight with Alexis Arguello.........crushed Asthma pills in the water bottle, that according to Luis Resto opened his lungs up and made him feel brand new.:-(
