Gatti-Ward: 1st fight by far. The 2nd fight was a one-sided schooling. The 3rd fight was rather one-sided too. Great 7th round, a pretty good fight, but still easily below the first fight.

Bowe-Holyfield: not sure about this one. The 1st fight seems to be the popular pick, but the 2nd fight was definitely the closest and most competitive (I had it 115-114 for Holyfield). I loved the in-fighting and some of the exchanges in the rubber match although it seems to be the least popular among the three fights

Leonard-Duran: 1st fight by far. The rematch had such a disappointing ending, and the 3rd fight was one of the worst big fights in the history of boxing. Usually the crowd yells "bull****, bull****" after they don't agree with the decision (Leonard-Hearns 2, Briggs-Foreman). They yelled it here because it was such a shitty fight.

Pacquiao-Morales: Most people seem to like the first fight, but I liked the rematch the best. Maybe because it ended in more conclusive fashion. I like it when fights end in a KO/stoppage. It gives it that dramatic and conclusive ending. Morales started off well, despite being rocked in round 2. Pacquiao busted up Morales's nose and hurt him in the 6th, and took over from there, but even in those latter rounds, Morales was still competitive and landing some nice shots.

Barrera-Morales: 1st fight. That's my 2nd best fight of the decade behind Corrales-Castillo 1. 3rd fight was very good, and didn't end in a controversial decision like the other 2. The 2nd fight was alright, but disappointing.

Vazquez-Marquez: The 3rd fight. The ending was similar to Chacon-Limon 4. A guy scoring a KD with 10 seconds left in the fight, and ends up winning on the cards by one point.

Toney-McCallum: The first fight by miles. The rematch was alright but definitely inferior to the first. I had Toney winning the first and McCallum the second. Third fight was boring.

Tarver-Jones: The first fight. Close fight, with Jones pulling it out with bodyshots and a late rally. 2nd fight had a great, shocking KO. 3rd fight sucked as Jones was intimidated and looking to survive.

Ali-Frazier 3: Manila is #2 on my all-time list behind Corrales-Castillo 1. The FOTC was a great fight too, both guys were better in 1971 than 1975, but I preferred the Thrilla. Second fight sucked.

Some fantastic fights there. Too hard to pick the best to be honest. Its like asking whos got the best rack between monroe and racquel welsh. You get to a cetain level where you cant get any better, then it comes down to personal choice

    I liked the first Harding-Andries fight, I think that was the best. Gatti-Ward I, Bowe-Holyfield I, Leonard-Duran I, Pacquiao-Morales I, Barrera-Morales I, Vazquez-Marquez III and Ali-Frazier I are some of my favourite fights ever.

Morales/Barrera I is the greatest fight Ive ever seen just ahead of Chacon/Boza-Edwards II.

Bill Butcher,Proof of What? Each won is entitled to their opinion, without "proof"...This is not a math test...But the 3 graziano=Zale fights all ended in devastating knockouts...Graziano,the most exciting fighter [not the best].was NEVER the same, after the three vicious wars, and the same thing for the aptly named " man of steel "Tony Zale...Sadly only one of the fight films survive...Two tough SOBs were they....

    Indeed.

What did Graziano say after winning the second fight Burt? I heard Bert Sugar (Known to be a bser) say he said something like, "I guess somebody up their loves me ma." Something close to that effect. Do you remember?

Did you see any of the fights, or know of anyone that saw the fights? What are their accounts?
