I dont think he has self esteem problems. He has just followed that whole Gansta rap thing where showing off what you have and how much money you have is important. I am from the same era as Floyd and dont get it myself, but i also think thats why B hop does not get or like this way of life. They are just different ages, so stand for different things.
A lot of what he says is true but, hop is a lot older and missed out on a lot of money in his younger years by not having a promoter. It's all on how u where raised, I can't knock know one.
Bernard is a real street dude who doesnt need to act like it to impress some rapper friends. Floyd is a wannabe street dude who acts like he grew up on the streets and had to fend for his life since he was 5. Gangster4life rudeboy!
I see he's changed his mind about Carlos Monzon. He previously claimed that he'd lose to him. Saying that he'd knock Monzon out (a guy who's never been knocked out, despite facing some murderous punchers) is a little far-fetched. I see Hopkins losing to Monzon more often than not in a competitive but decisive fight.

just different eras man.....none of alot of things today makes since to any of my parents or grand parents....shyt changes...not saying everything Floyd does is smart at all but im incline to believe he is alot smarter than people think because he has done a good job of handling boxing buisiness. With that said how or what he does with his money is so irrelevant to me how he acts any of his personal life is just that...HIS life. Im only concerned about my business. If Hop is so street this interview about Floyd would have been so short because there really is nothing to say unless you have already handled it face to face as he hinted towards.....but apprently NEITHER has said anything face to face.
