Have you honestly seen enough of Tszyu, amateur and professional life/career, to consider him overrated?

Tzyu lost to vince phillips, hatton only lost to pacman and mayweather.

Kostyas best win is Zab Judah.. who was never any good despite what people say

    Hattons best wins

    Tzyu
    Mallignaggi
    Castillo
    Urango
    Collazo
    Maussa
    Tackie
    Magee

Two weight world champion, one of the most popular fighters EVER. no other fighter has taken 30,000 fans half way around the world.

Tzyu was very good fighter, Hatton achieved more and had more of an impact on the sport

anyone picking hatton never saw tszyu fight in his prime. it would have been just like pac vs hatton.

maybe if you're from london. so fans following you around the world makes you a better fighter? out of all those wins that you listed kosta is the only really impressive one. and lets face facts. he was on the decline and the fight was total ****.

Hattons a manc i can't stand the ****. I don't even particularly rate him as a fighter but he's above Tszyu all time at 140 and in general.

people just have a hardon because of his big punch

I honestly feel like if Collazo had a bit of power in his hands that would have been another L on his record. Of course he didnt and of course Hatton won but its obvious to see who was the better boxer.

Although Hatton beat KT at the end of his career..I would say KT narrowly, his career is just a tad bit more impressive to me.

Your not taking into account hattons a two weight champion.

he won that close world title fight against collazo because of the knockdown in the first round.

And Collazo is a huge welterweight.

people need to start giving more props to hatton

Hatton has a truly great win (Tszyu), but Tszyu has a very very good win of his own (Judah).

All in all, Tszyu was the superior fighter and had a better run at lww. He will be ranked higher by history.

Tsyzu had one foot in retirement and only took the bout with Hatton because it was a big purse. He was actually supposed to fight Harris but reneged and wanted to retire.

Now why is it that Hatton gets soo much credit for beating up a fighter who had one foot in retirement and Joppy doesnt get no credit vs Duran? Neither does Holmes or Berbick vs Ali? What about Danny Williams vs Tyson? Where is the credibility in beating up a fighter who in his prime would have stood Hatton on his head?

    Rephrase the question:

Who has a better legacy - Tszyu or a guy whose best win is against a 36 year old Tszyu in a match that was reffed by a WWE official?

Anyone saying Hatton is English and under the age of 25

Theres more factors to this than that. it's not as black and white as you think.

Kostya was a very well schooled experienced fighter, he had a large break before the fight but the win certainly is credible. Didn't the ring magazine vote it fight of the year or something?

More people worldwide know who Hatton is, Hatton has titles in two weight divisions and equal quality names on his record as Tzyu (Mainly because of Tszyu himself, even a 35 year old one)

Legacy has so many factors to it, Hatton had the stones to step up in weight when he was limited in his size/shape. Kostya never did. Hence why i have him higher than Tzsyu.
