What impresses me about BHop, isn't that he was in jail, but what he did with his life afterwards.

It is a hell of a feel good story.

Funny how most people say Floyd is all about money, money, money and mo' money. But it seems that everyone else seems to want to talk more about his financial situation than he does, says something doesn't it.

What a difference in maturity between these two! Floyd is like Annikan and Hopkins is like Obi Wan.

That's only because he doesn't have as much money as he claims. If he did, he would love to talk about his financial situation.

Yes it says that people see through his bull**** and are throwing it back in his face and/or enjoy pointing out how **** he has been at looking after his money.

If he wasn't putting it out there as an issue in the first place, nobody would care.

I don't think there's any shock here that Hopkins is an extremely intelligent guy.

Exactly. Living the kind of life he had and able to break out of it then make the most out of himself is freakin impressive. The way he lived his life in the past as many have but the difference is he was capable of changing it, which isn't easy at all, as many people are stuck in that vicious cycle til it is too late.

As for people complaining about how he talks about houses and crap when asking about why he and Floyd got problems. It was to explain the difference in their mentality and how he cannot respect a young man full of nonsense. BHop aged well in the ring as well as outside the ring, very impressive fellow.

even you must admit though that your clearly a complete twat.

The article just about sums the two of them up really. it doesnt surprise me to hear another source saying floyd has money problems. if its true, well. what a ****ing ******. and he looks like even more of a complete **** with all this 'money' mayweather ****, and burning (!fake!) bank notes.

if its not true he still looks like a **** for reasons b h described. what is it with all this **** anyway. like he says you dont see george soros house. what a twat.

all that taken into consideration hes still THE man in the ring. his timed his fights well from his point of view (there is a few i would have looked to have seen) but as time has gone on and these fighters have had othe fights there is looking like less and less holes in his resume. when he fights pac (i really belive this) it will be the right time for him and this drug testing stuff seems to have really rattled thier cages and given him the mental edge. i think he will win as well.

to sum up: bhop master of stating the obvious and PBF is a generation defining boxer and a complete mug/****.

lol. You guys with your faces buried in his nuts over this ****.

If he is such a together, secure human being, why is he doing interviews talking **** about another man? He isn't even fighting Floyd or in the same division, what's the point? I don't hear Floyd talking about BHop. BHop jumping in the ring, talking smack to Floyd after the Marquez fight. hahaha

    Bernard, don't be maaaaaad.

I did not know that Bernard Hopkins was white.
    Thanks for the correction.

Pretty sure Floyd gave himself the nickname "Money."
He also often justifies his career and legacy in monetary terms (contracts, PPV, custom suites, high stakes betting, showing off his stacks in 24/7, etc) . He opened the door and ask people to enter. Some obliged them.

So I am unsure where you get the idea that PBF talks less about his money than we do.

Not only Bernard is smart, he has personality to tell ya in your face like he has done in Showtime and Jim Gray for the Robert Allen rematch. Floyd Mayweather is a nice guy but he has a certain way to do business that I dislike, not really mental games to put you off like Bernard used to do, more like calling people's attention for all the wrong reasons... It's not like throwing the PR flag down or sayin that you would never lose to a W boy, but sayin that you can not be outhought, that your skills are way above others, it doesn't sound good.
