  3. I know the history of these clowns. The only times their names are mentioned is when someone is trying to make Oscar seem better than what he is. And you did just that mu****a.

Any1 that knows boxing could see that Oscar is one of the best of our time(90's-present).Its just that alot of people(pac fans, haters included) look at the fight Oscar had with Pac n base his ability's on that one fight.
De La Hoya fought everybody of his time. And remember,a fighter cant realy fight everybody!but you dont become a 10time world champ in six different div without fighting the best of your time(prime).

I think Oscar was a fantastic fighter, just look at some of those names on his resume. You can add Felix Sturm to the list as well.
You could also make a case saying he only lost legitimately to the much bigger Hopkins and Pacquiao in his last fight when weight drained.

  13. you dont hear about mosley gettin props for beating rivera or floyd for beating hernandez. The only time they are mentioned is to validate oscars ***** ass. Okay lets say it like this, they may not be bums but they add zero credit to his resume. Just like they add zero credit to other fighters resume. Stop trying to fluff oscar.

He was an excellent fighter, very skilled and fully committed. Forget about his image as a SuperStar and his business influence towards the end of his career. He proved his superior boxing class when he made short work of the great Julio Cesar Chavez. Of course, he was well guided by Floyd Sr with all those moves that made Arturo (RIP) look helpless, and then turn around the fight against a very strong, aggresive and committed Vargas with all that sense of timing and punch skill... But I believe that Oscar was just one irresistable boxer-puncher when he stepped up from SFW to LW, Rafael Ruelas, Chicanito Hernandez, Jorge Paez, Jesse James Leija and so on... He was not shining as much as a WW and SWW with guys like Whitaker, Tito, Shane, Quartey and Winky around, I'm sorry.
