When have I ever been "owned"? You're just another nuthugger. Floyd to you isn't just a fighter, he's your god. :hi:

Look at what Mayweather was able to do to a full Jr. Middleweight with a more educated/faster jab then Pavlik.

look at what a natural Jr. Middleweight was able to do to Pavlik.

You seen how 44 year old B-hops movement baffled Kelly. Now ask yourself....What would Floyd do?

    I love this board!

Pavlik doesn't know how to cut the ring off. Honestly, I thought he did after the first Taylor fight but in the second, Taylor showed how easy he is to avoidby simple lateral movement. In that fight, Pavlik had no clue how to close him down. Against a fighter who backs up, he will always look like he can cut the ring off but against movers, he just can't. He's hardly George Foreman, is he?

I'll reply to your longer post later, because I'm on my phone right now.

Exactly. The only reason people think it'd be one sided is weight, which is absurd. Picking fights that way is very short sighted.

I'm glad you've cleared things up

I've never seen such a long post without one relevant piece of information. Its just a Pavlik praising post and nothing more. The reason I'm not taking you seriously is because you would have used this same logic to explain why Hopkins couldn't beat Pavlik.

DLH backed him up to the ropes and worked on him with his jab. Pavlik would do it easier, because of his greater size, strength, reach, power, work-rate etc.

The natural Jr. Middleweight who started off as a Jr. Lightweight, like Floyd?

Name me a fight where Hopkins had better movement than there.

    Floyd is nothing like Hopkins.

But predicting a Mayweather shut-out is much more realistic?

You're just wrong. Watch the first two rounds of Pavlik/Miranda and tell me Kelly Pavlik can't cut off the ring.

Taylor didn't really move laterally in the second fight. He conceded territory, but was never really up on his toes. He was standing there looking to counter most of the time.

It's possible, but I doubt it.

Hopkins who was also the bigger man in the fight against Pavlik beat the **** out of Pavlik, but Pavlik managed to walk out on his own two legs.

Mayweather would make Pavlik look stupid, but if Mayweather is unable to hurt guys like Marquez with his punches, what is he gonna do to Pavlik?

At some point, Pavlik is going to catch up to him because Mayweather is going to exhaust himself from constant movement and his inability to gain Pavlik's respect.

But it is possible, I just doubt it.

So to make you point about Pavlik's inability to cut-off the ring, you use Edison Miranda..."The Colombian Punching Bag", "Mr. Hit n' Get hit" "Señor No Defense"...really? Seriously???
