His lack of quality opponents after his first loss as a pro against Calzaghe it went down hill from there. The way he basically quit against Ward. He seems like he lacks self confidence I've said this about him ever since his loss to Calzaghe.
Froch is not as tough as people think, and he is not as strong as people think. Conversially he is not a one-dimensional as people think and he has more skills than people think. People got Froch all wrong and seen him as some sort of dirty brawler.
To be honest i have to say this, Froch is a born winner and what he lacks in superior boxing skills to other world champions he makes up in confidence and self belief, there is no one in the super six who he would think could beat him, and he will be thinking that right to the last bell. I think the man has quite good skills and a corkscrew of a uppercut. as things stand with Kesslers mental state and being abit of the boil, Froch wins 8th round by KO. Froch wins super 6 tourney.
Although Froch is often easy to hit, I dont think hes as reckless as Andrade, and has an ability to make fights turn his way. Froch has faster hands than he often shows, and can box a bit when the mood takes, remember he did win a world bronze medal in the amateurs. I have a feeling Kessler will start well, landing good combinations, but have a feeling that somewhere around the middle rounds Froch will start to land some clubbing blows which make Kessler go into a shell a bit and stop throwing so much, allowing Froch to come back, for a close possibly contraversial win.
This is very funny :yep and true! Froch in Denmark is alot different than Ward in Oakland and Calzaghe in Cardiff. A whole lot different. But the question is if Kessler IS at 75% of his best. We really dont know. I have no idea if Kessler looked bad last time because of the headbutts, Wards style and illegal stuff or if he was just slow and shot.
Kessler was mad that he got stopped. He went in there to KO Ward in the last couple of rounds before the stoppage. The dude had three ugly cuts and still went forward. Bull.
Will the Brits make it over to Denmark to cheer Froch? I tend to think Froch wins, but so far home court advantage has been huge in the tourney.
Rewatch the last three rounds of Froch vs Dirrell....... Dirrell hurt Froch multiple times..... Kessler will without question be able to KO Froch.... I cant ****ing wait to see Kessler jab his head off and KO him later in the fight.
Speed is relative. Andrade is a sloth so obviously Kessler looked fast. Ward is very fast, and made Kess look slow. Lucky for Mikkel, Froch isnt particuarly fast, or hard to find... so Kessler should have success. This fight will tell us for SURE whether Ward was just a bad styles match for Kess, or whether he's over the hill. I suspect he still has a good amount left in the tank, and will beat Froch.
