Will Froch get the credit if he beats Kessler

people will find some excuse not to give him credit, just to kid themselves

 

I would not think it was "Ward's left overs," but I do think Kessler's best days are behind him. I'd rate a win over MK right along side the win over JT: good-solid win, but not against the peak version.

 

He will get huge credit.

Kessler is still a very good brand at 168. He is one of the top fighters as well.

On the other hand. If Froch is totally outboxed and gets the lucky punch it will be a different matter.

But if Froch outboxes Kessler. He will get mad props.

 

Froch is one of the favorite whipping posts here, he will get no credit, and everyone will be called a "euro bum"

Its funny how when euros dominate "there are no good americans"

But when americans dominate "euros get exposed"

when Froch loses all hell is gonna break lose with the "Froch exposed, I told you so threads".

but the truth will out this Super 6 - everytime we build someone up they will fall - Kessler, then AA and now watch Green KO Ward.

 

People forget rather quickly. Kessler is a very technically sound fighter who almost hasnt lost any rounds IN HIS CAREER besides against Calzaghe and Ward. And now he is being called all kinds of **** on different boxing forums - especially this one. Doesnt make sense imo.

Froch on the other hand is no where near as technically sound but he has some good physical attributes. But as a boxing fan I have to say he looks limited. He does. (slow, no defense).

I think we will see Kessler bounce back and maybe TKO Froch. If Kessler doesnt win this he has lost it.

 

If that happens it will be thunder in here. There are alot of Ward fans on this forum.

 

He should get alot of credit imo...

But, you gotta know some btches will down-play it like they always do.

ie) Who did MK ever beat? ... He was shot after JC ... Ward exposed him etc... lol

 

Does MK even get credit for beating Andrade? Not saying he was so good but he beat him before Bute did.

 

Probably not. People will point to Kessler not having a single excellent win since Andrade, looking less than spectacular in fights leading up to the Ward one, and the schooling he received at the hands of Ward. The win will probably be labeled as one against a fighter who was "damaged goods."

I think Mikkel will win a competitive decision and I don't, by any means, consider him a badly faded fighter, so I'll give Froch the credit he deserves if he wins.

 

Yeah he just sucks fighting in the inside. Froch gets offended if you don't hit him so Kessler may be able to land big ones and win a competitive decision like you said.

 

He wouldnt get the credit he would have pre the kes / ward fight thats for sure..if froch can stop him by KO I will be impressed..

cant help thinking Kes is too strong and technical for that..Froch does have the power to stop him though..although Kessler WILL land on froch also..big time.. and that will be interesting..
