Man sometimes I wonder which fights you guys watch.

Dirrel slipped and was NOT on a knee. He was sitting on his BUTT with a glove on the canvas when AA hit him. That is miles different from taking a knee. Then when you see all those damn decals on the ring surface you KNOW it is a recipe for disaster when you are hosting highly mobile fighters.

Then you guys bring up that Froch clown? Hatton and now Froch make TWO fighters out of the UK who don't know the difference between boxing and MMA. Then they have the nerve to act "indignant" when refs don't allow it? Please. What was Froch hoping that Dirrell would just stand in front of him supporting Froch's weight on his neck? Damn right he took a knee! Was he upset he wasn't allowed to hold and hit too?

I think Dirrell won that fight, it was a typical hometown decision. Ok so dirrell took it on the chin so to speak but froch shouldnt have whined about it after, he was lucky to get the decision. Wasnt impressed with froch tht night.

Were you impressed with Dirrell? Aside from a couple of rounds late in the fight he fought like a *****. I still felt Dirrell nicked it by a round or two, but it was certainly not a robbery and if you fight that way you're making it very hard for the judges to justify giving you rounds where you've landed 3 punches to your opponents 2 punches.

Great point, except for the fact that during the majority of the rounds Dirrell outlanded Froch 6-2. If Froch even landed 2 punches in a round.

6 jabs off the back foot whilst taking a knee, bending down and generally trying to avoid fighting is not really enough to clearly win a round.

  9. I could do that right now, but would you accept you're wrong?

If im a nobody what does that make the idiot that actually thought Dirrell was going to lose?

Again I've proven you dont know **** about the sport before. Im biased why? Because I clearly pointed out what Abraham and Froch were, cavemanish boxers with little actually ability, who get by nothing more then having decent chins and some power?

Froch is going to get sparked out hard within his next 2 fights. If Kessler doenst do the job abraham will. He'll be forgotten within the year and the way he blocks punches with his chin you better pray he doesnt suffer serious injury.

Froch's behind-the-head punches were indeed impressive. I rarely think of those as scoring shots, though.

The only time Dirrell voluntarily took a knee was in the round 6, and thats not taking a knee and more of him being off balance.

The other 4 times he hit the ground was due to Froch body slams, rabbit punches and headlocks.

BEnding down? How is that illegal. Again, dont penalize the skilled fighter against the caveman because he can duck punches and the other guy absorbs them in his face.

Even and idiot like you scored the fight for Dirrell. Now imagine how a person who doesnt think Abraham is going to beat Dirrell actually scored the fight?

  14. Yup, looking at a video right now of Dirrell turning his back on Froch. Thing is, you're so goddamn blinkered, what would be the point in posting it? You're bias towards Dirrell is verging on sycophantic.

i was impressed with Dirrell, he's defense was superb, slipping and weaving...you just dont get to see enough of that in boxing these days. He made Froch look very slow. I wanted him to counter more though , he had the speed and opportunity to do so but nonetheless he did catch froch with some good shots. He did a fair bit of holding though, which wasnt impresive.
