I stay away from threads that i don't know enough about and if I'm interested in them, read up and try to pick up some knowledge

Probably, I'm quite certain the 'elite posters' engage in some acts of bestiality, to be granted passage into the gentleman's club, so to speak.

 

I think threads like 'Hatton is a sham' are **** and are rightly pulled up.

Nothing to do with elitism.

New posters should have a read and get used to the vibe of the place before diving in with **** threads IMO.

Long-ish list of not so active posters in here too, TFFP, Jeff Thomas (even in present incarnation), Scurla, Dunky, Dan-b to name just a few. But forums evolve, people's activity waxes and wanes.

Still a quality forum. I don't think we've had that much to feed on in recent months, especially domestically.

Without going into too much detail, something pretty serious has happened with my health recently. I still read the forum when I can, though, and it's nice to be missed. In all seriousness, I miss reading my amazing posts as well actually, fellas:good.

There is also some truth in Gaz's statement; I'm not bored of boxing at all (lot's of exciting things happenning in the game at the moment), but a lot of threads on here have been shocking recently and I can't be arsed reading, or for that matter replying to, the same boring, repetitive **** over and over.

As for noobs being treated unfairly, I personally think people are given a fair shake. As someone else alluded to, if someone appears on the scene spouting crap (usually in 'text speak') then it's only natural that they'll get a shitty reception. On the other hand, if a decent poster joins then what they have to say isn't really given the same amount of attention as some dumbass hater who has only come on here to disrespect certain fighters.
