I think floyds counter right and jab to the body are as straight as a punch can come...he also doesn't **** back as much as manny (thus why manny has a lot more power) and look for power as much behind his punches like Manny does..I believe his style makes him throw straighter punches cuz he is always counterpunching and thus he has to get the punch to his opponent quicker:thumbsup

Floyd's straight rights on castillo in the 2nd fight were pretty solid.

I wouldn't really describe Pac's punches as 'wide' and 'looping'. Normally his punches are quite compact and very quick...his most famous punch, the heart of his arsenal, is actually a straight punch, his left-straight, and that's normally thrown very crisply. Even his hooks aren't really wide...just look at the one he caught Hatton with in the first round of their fight. Very short, compact little hook, a perfect counter. Pac DOES sometimes get sloppy with his form when he throws combinations, but he can get away with it due to speed, and personally I don't think Floyd would be willing to try and time a counter in the midst of an incoming combination. The sad thing is, he's probably capable of it, because he's just that good, but I doubt he'd risk it. Trying to time a counter through a combo as fast and powerful as Pac throws means taking a risk...not Floyd's style.

I do think his counter-punching will give Pac fits, but I also think Pac's speed, combination skill and workrate will give Floyd fits. Hence why I still want this bloody fight to just happen already...

Mosley beats Floyd, so then Floyd retires and Mosley fights PAC.

I think Pac's style is a nightmare for Floyd, not the other way around.

Floyd will be very, very cautious and defensively-minded vs Pac because he will be determined not to get caught cleanly by Pac and left on the deck like Hatton and Cotto were with single shots. Floyd will do anything to avoid being visibly hurt, his ego won't allow it, that's why he'll be extremely negative and defensive, hoping to edge a points decision based on single, clean, eye-catching counters.

But Pac's volume punching, blazing flurries, and relentless activity is not a good recipe for an over-cautious pot-shotter. Pac's heart and Floyd's defensive nature to create a Pac UD, which Floyd and all the Floydettes will dispute but which will be thoroughly deserved to the neutrals. :good

Manny doesn't **** back his lead left hand

and he doesn't **** back that hard right hand he throws behind his left when he is throwing a combo.

Every friend I have who doesn't even follow boxing asks me when they are fighting.

why not put my two cents in, Mayweather is too smart for Manny and Roach. Early rounds will look good for Manny and just like the Judah fight Mayweather will adjust and dominate the middle and second half of the fight. Quote me on it!
