I'll be favoring Dirrell here, but stylistically he's at a disadvantage. Ward can match his speed, while also making it a rough house contest on the inside.

But then again, Ward has that bad knee and if he leaps in with his head up like he did against Kessler he's gonna catch a check hook that could put him down hard.

Right now I'd take Ward 7-5. Too good on the inside for the Matrix.

I might end up being proved wrong but i think that Ward will outclass Dirrell and make him look like an average fighter.

Ward could school Dirrell. But I dont think in this era Dirrell could be an average fighter. there's not enough talent.

Dirrell has clearly been getting by on athletic ability, much like Roy Jones but less fluid

man, you used to be a pretty good poster now your just an attention *****, but back on topic i pick ward by late stoppage. dirrell is a fast, crafty hard to hit fighter but i think ward offers much more than any of dirrells opponents. ward may not have the crushing power of abraham, but he's fast, defensively sound, and can box equally as effective from either the southpaw or orthodox stance. i just think ward is too versatile and technical for dirrell to deal with, if direll can maintain distance and stick his jab

I think it's as 50-50 as it gets, but based on Super Six experiences, hometown advantage could be the decider.

On the other hand, it's a serious clash of styles. Ward is better on the inside, Dirrell is better on the outside, and whoever gets the control over distance might turn it into a more one-sided affair.

Ward is a bit faster accurate, Dirrell is the more naturally gifted with the better movement, range and power. Ward is more versatile but would not win it on the outside, would have to bring it at close distance, whoever figures out the other will get this.

I think it will be in Ward's hometown so I'd pick him for the moment, but will certainly root for The Matrix!

Ward should be forced to wear headgear and Dirrell needs to wear leg braces to hold himself up, it's a close fight. I'll go with Ward by close decision. Should be an exciting fight with both guys dazzling the viewers by switching from southpaw to orthodox on occasion.

I've been following both Andre's since early in their careers. IMO Dirrell clearly hits harder.

tough call really, neither of them are KO artists but they can definitely crack, i would have to lean towards dirrell but not by that much. i dont think dirrell is stronger but he definitely hits with more authority than ward.

Hard fight to pick a winner, i go Ward but wouldn't be surprised if Dirrell won, both must be on such a high right now. I think if the Abraham DQ KO didn't take too much out of Dirrell he may be able to win but i would slightly favour Ward right now as i think he is the better boxer

I must confess i was impressed with Dirrell's performance last weekend,i thought he would run more than Forrest Gump and fall over the place everytime AA got near him,but he didnt do any of that he stood his ground and picked AA apart with his skills,at times he made Abraham look like a complete bum.

I hope that from now on he performs the way he did with Abraham and that the Dirrell that fought Stevens and Froch never shows up again.
