I can understand what you are saying but there are more things that have to be taken into consideration...

Its not like Pac stopped Cotto right after he beat Mosley and was still undefeated.... Pac stopped Cotto after he was beaten to a bloody pulp and stopped by Margarito who was stopped by Mosley in his last fight, the very guy Mayweather is fighting.

You need to tell the whole story.

He won't knock Shane out, he could not get Zab or even a lightweight out of there. Think about it.

What Pac did to clottey was no where near s impressive as what floyd did 2 marquez!

Clottey came in to lose. Look what Marquez did to Pac - Beat him! thts y i think Pac cant br lb4lb numero uno til he beats marquez at lightweight.

Marquez is he most underrated fighter n floyd made him look absolutely poo

Pac beating a woefully overmatched diaz and a barely moving punching bag named Clottey wasn't exactly thrilling either. But no question manny is the more exciting fighter. I thought we were talking about the wins themselves not the way they looked.

I don't think floyd has an impressive win over an elite fighter outside of castillo or corrales, and I think he lost the first castillo fight and corrales was not even close to into that fight.

Taking out DLH and Hatton as anyone can argue in either side that Pac won more impressively vs. PBF beating them first, you're left with:

Pac - Clottey, Cotto, Diaz vs. PBF - Marquez, Baldo, Judah --> Pac wins

Now if PBF wins against Mosley, you have:
Pac - Clottey, Cotto, Diaz vs. PBF - Mosley, Marquez, Baldo --> Even IMO

it depends on what u think of fighters when they lose. people think fighters arent the same when they lose. sometimes. cotto looked entirely fine to me in every which way, the same way mosley looked to me after losing to cotto. In any case there is NO argument to be made that shane is CLEARLY a better fighter than cotto. his stock is higher atm cause hes coming off a big win; thats it. but other than that they must be rated on similar levels.

then u take into account clottey/hatton/de la hoya vs JMM/hatton/de la hoya. pac wins. easy.

Roach said in his own words when asked why they were fighting Cotto instead of Mosley, "Cotto isn't Mosley" or something to that extent... Take it for whatever, but I always do hold a higher account to the words of a trainer than average boxing fans, especially when what they are saying hold no benefit to the fighter they are training.

styles man, styles. mosley is a tougher style for pac. thats clear. theres no way anyone can rate mosley clearly above cotto. u can argue it, but its never going to be clear. when shane loses to money, which he will, then whats ur opinion gonna be when his stock isnt as high anymore? cmon man u know its real
