Froch have some qualities and lot of heart but his talent put a limit to the level of succes he can have.
Nothing but respect for Froch here. Strength, KO power, heart, aggressiveness and his awkward style is also an advantage.
For anyone who is unfamiliar with Lefthook31 - he is wrong about 99.999% of the time, one of the least knowledgable of all regular posters, and a seriously dumb **** to boot, so if he says Froch will finish last we can all rest easy that the Cobra will be firmly in the mix come the business end of the tournament!!! :good
although he techincally won against dirrell he really should have lost... I don't even see this as debateable
There you go again. Mary Popkins at her finest. Lets see what happens smart guy. If he loses out, he comes in last in my book
Froch reminds me of guys like Nigel Benn, Danny Williams, Ricky Hatton, Chris Eubank and Joe Calzaghe. He fights hard, takes risks and always gives his all. I also admire fighters with limited skills who have the heart to beat superior athletes, courage and determination is a very dangerous tool to have in your arsenal regardless of skill level.
It's nothing to do with their 'Britishness' as such, I couldn't give a flying **** where anyone comes from or what colour their skin is or whatever, but when I think about it there really hasn't been a British fighter I've ever really warmed to and felt a strong attachment to. I liked Lennox Lewis, Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn, like I like David Haye and Carl Froch now, but none of them were ever close to being in my little cache of hardcore favourite fighters. I respect guys like Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan, but don't really have much affection for them. And I was never a fan of Joe Calzaghe at all. There's just never been a Brit in my lifetime I've really loved as a fighter. Weird I suppose, considering I am from the UK.
- He also lives a clean lifestyle outside the ring. - It seems he always keeps near to the 168lb limit at all times. - Heard him mention his food tends to be healthy. - No wonder he looks "strong as a ox" everytime he fights.
Here we have a guy who takes on all comers, fights like a warrior and is a pretty funny dude, yet some people still choose to hate. Guys like this is what the sport needs, not punks who fight like girls and duck people!
And the fact that this is his woman certainly doesn't hurt my opinion of him. People should be taking notes from the man. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
He's really crude but makes for very entertaining fights. I think he's got much more fortitude than Kessler, so I expect him to win. ****, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he advances with 6 points, but I think he loses to Ward and if there was a rematch with AD, he loses that as well.
