I think Carl Froch is pretty underrated on this forum.

I'm on the fence with him, but Dirrell should have gotten the nod. Dirrell seems to know how to **** fighters off and force them to make terrible mistakes. He frustrated both Froch and AA. Actually, I believe AA would beat Froch. That is the fight I would like to see. A shot Taylor had Froch beat until the KO. We are getting ahead of ourselves. Kessler is still game.

Taylor was still game in the Froch fight. I thought he got shot in the AA fight because his jab didn't have that same pop anymore and he just looked so pitiful trying to get through that guard.

bottom line is...froch will have his chance in the next two fights to silence his critics. kessler and aa will be tough fights for froch. should he win, there will be no room to slight him. **** and moan about his style...of course. deny his place in the smw pecking order...no way

    not really...

I mean honestly.... in my opinion scoring based on who lands the most punches and dictates what their opponent did

i had dirrel over froch like 9-3 or 10-2
going into the 11th i had direll over aa like 8-2

so it was basically the same thing more or less

I had the Froch fight even or 1 point for Dirrell.

I had the Abraham fight 7-3 for Dirrell (incl. 1 KD for Dirrell and 2 KDs for Abraham).

Another difference is that Dirrell had his best rounds in 10-11. Whereas Abraham had his best rounds in 10-11. So Dirrell was getting better in the Froch fight, whereas Abraham was getting better in that fight.

Oh God. To have to agree with WWM. But here goes. Froch was a huge step up for Dirrell. This was his first big fight in a very young career. This was only his 18th pro fight. His lack of experience really showed in this fight yet he had Froch swinging at air, losing his cool and fouling and fighting dirty. When Dirrell had the point deducted he knew he had to do something and stepped on the gas. He learned something about himself at that point. The step up in maturity he showed between the Froch and Abraham fights as a result is nothing less than stunning. So, Froch did not fight the same Dirrell that Abraham did. Not by a long shot in my opinion anyhow. He brought something to this fight he was lacking at the start of the Froch fight. Froch was very lucky to get Dirrell when he did and still may have been gifted at that.

After I saw what Dirrell did to abraham, I regained some of the respect I had for Froch. I think he beats Kessler and aa.

Not the most skillful, but the guy has heart and will to win, probably more than any of the Super 6. He's a very good fighter, but needs to have a solid win with no question marks or taking on shells of former fighters. I think he'll do good against Kessler.

Really good post. I also got Froch knocking Kessler out. To be honest, I think Froch is going to win the whole tournament.
