    Probably my 2nd favorite fighter.

Guy is a physical freak besides being tall. To bad he lacked in the dedication department.

Lack of dedication wasnt the reason for Kevin's inconsistency. It was the fact he fought out of HammerHouse. Those guys workouts consisted of hormone abuse and lifting weights. Not one of them ever evolved. Plus Kevin had such a meathead mentality that he literally abused his body by never going to see doctors when he was badly injured. He literally had to be on deaths door before he got himself sorted out.

    He had so much ability.

    You're right about the powerhouse.

But I still think he could of been very great. He beat CroCop and nearly killed Fedor

As much as i love Kevins win over CC it was also highlighted his inconsistency as well as CC's arrogance. Crop thought Randleman was a gimme. He thought wrong. Kevin shone full part landing a huge left hook. The problem is Kevin is hardly a striker. He had semi decent hands but other than pure athleticism and will Kevin never had much of a skillset let alone even developing one. Kevins usual gungho exuberance was the reason why he got subbed with a guillotine in the rematch.

As for the Fedor bout Kevin showed alot of promise. That spike was just simply ridiculous. The fact that Fedor tore his arm off seconds later with a Kimura just showed how great Fedor is and how simple Kevins offense is. Never in a month of sundays would Coleman or Kevin ever have the beating of Fedor.

As for great forget about it. Kevins my boy but the dudes a mental midget. He's got ALOT of demons that he's fighting and has done so since his days at Ohio State.

Rampage was once asked who hit him the hardest. He said Randleman. He then went all to say that by now Randleman should be like ninja who is a black belt in everything. This was back when Rampage was in the WFA, just prior to signing with the UFC. So, sometime in 2006.

Kevin's a bad dude. I remember, either Baroni or Sims, once telling a story about Randleman ****ing up a ton of people in a bar even though he was vastly outnumbered and they were hitting him with bottles and ****.

Bad things seem to happen to him. Once the UFC had to cancel a main eve because Kevin fell over backstage and Koed himself. He got that super Staph. There are other incidents as well.

With his wrestling ability, his athleticism and his toughness Kevin should have been one of the best MMA fighters of all time. He should have been better than he was.

People forget Kevin's had some good accomplishments. He's beaten some good guys. He's won the UFC belt. You just always have the feeling that he could have been so much more than he was. He wasn't a failure though and to call him such does him a disservice. He did achieve some things. T's just he should have been more than he was.

Thats one fight that still pisses me off to this day. Bas spent the entire fight on his back getting hammered from guard and yet they gave it to Bas. Absolute robbery.
