We have heard much ranting and raving from our Euro brethren about our (Americans) chest beating over our fighters.

Well, how many Euros crack the Top 10 all-time, irresepctive of weight class?

I'll start us off by submitting Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali, two Americans and each, respectively, a consensus Top 10-er of all-time.

Kindly provide me the names of two Euros who belong on the list.

    Bob Fitzsimmons belongs on there.

I've seen a case made for Jimmy Wilde, though I don't see it, at all.

hard to say since boxing in america is so insular and most americans never had to travel half the world to fight, they always had home advantage, than of course the mafia ran the belt for years and refused to allow the belt to leave the USA, why are Eastern Euros running things now in the HW division? I think its fair to say the HW lineage would be alot different had they been allowed to fight in the past, even with the americans getting homefield advantage evrytime!

Europeans and Americans have historically, for the most part, not been treated on equal terms by the WBA/WBC cartels.

'World Championships' - often in name only - titles contested usually by Americans, for American audiences. There are plenty of exceptions of course, but in general a lot of Europeans probably never got the shots or exposure they deserved and therefore the ATG rankings are dominated by Americans.

How else would you explain the disparity?

boxing has lost it's way in the USA, and other sports have taken off

free university education (if you go), signing bonuses, $ right away (no working your way through the ranks), more exposure, more endorsements, and you don't have to get punched in the face repeatedly, could also factor in on things

Same can be said for every country, in pretty much every south american, african and european country the athletes go to football/rugby. That excuse is such bollox.

Atg lists are just opinion, who's to say Ted "kid" lewis wasn't the best of all time.

I think in all probability a lot of the atg from way back were merely men ahead of their time in terms of dedication fitness training and technique rather than some "god given" ability.

I am asking for your rankings, so please dispense with the American bias nonsense.

Produce at least two Euros that belong on the list to match the two I offered.

As I said, please explain the disparity. Without resorting to suggesting that Americans are the Master Race or something equally bigoted. It wasn't a level playing field, that's why Americans have historically done better.
