Arthur won maybe two rounds in the fight. He got schooled. Sure, he was starting to land near the end but that was mainly because Dirrell was on his knees.
Okay... Yes.... I admit..... I have a bottle / bottles set aside...... STILL! Regardless, you all fail to see my point....... I love boxing but, as of late, the game has been struggling along with guys I care LESS about...... I am not big on this "Prospective" tournament thing.... Yeah, its kinda' cool, but not really to my overall needs........ My guy is Arty Abe....... I know he will not go all the way, yet, he is my boy in this tourny......... WORD! MR.BILL
Not exactly......... I'm buzzin' again..... TRUTH! Still, give me some slack.... I love the fight game.... I do.... BUT! I am bored with the newer crop of fighters of today....... I am OLD SCHOOL! Scary as it seems, James Toney is my LAST old fart who is still in the mix.... YET! I know he too is done like a turkey on Thanksgiving.......... My new kids are guys like Manolo Pacquiao and Chad Dawson..... I will NOT buy "Hops-Jones 2" this week.... I am willing to do "Holy-Botha" at a reduced fee of 25 USA bucks.... Boxing is in a slump in 2010......... MR.BILL
I am HUGE on Vitali Klit............ I wanna see his fight with Albert Sosnowski from Poland / Europe...... GO KLIT!!! Will regular HBO do the RIGHT thing and offer the USA the fight? MR.BILL
Just what ESB needs; a drunken klit hugger:admin Probably less irritating than the joy boys and *******s:deal
So now i feel pretty safe in assuming it was a fake. But dirrell's right, because he had every reason to fake it.
I am a proud 'Klit' jock-sniffer....... No shame there.... NONE!! They are the guys at heavy..... Right now, boxing is in a slump..... Lotsa' over-hyped and over-priced bullcrapola being shown by cable / satellite TV...... MR.BILL
he s right , EVEN IF he was acting, we should be persecuting Abraham for what he did, not what we speculate Dirrell did or didnt do. in my opinion he was clearly hurt, as his quotes say, he wanted his moment of "shine", his glorious moment- the moment that all boxers live for. they risk life and limb to fight, no fighter tries to get a victory like that when theyre clearly winning, unlike some, ala Griffin. As people we have to give him the benefit of the doubt. To me- this whole reaction, it shows more about the people who think he faked and acted- rather than anything revealing about Dirrell. It shows how quickly people leap to brand someone a coward when none of them have fought, how quickly we brand cowardice- when the true coward is the one that took a cheap shot, and the ones who brand someone they dont know, have never met, anonymously. people who jump to brand somone a title that is one step above pedophile in our society. Thats the way the world is though. there are gladiators, there are spectators, and then there are the peanut gallery who cry for blood and throw **** into the collesueum. its clear who the cheap seat guys are in my opinion.
