Nope, the DQ is justified either way. Intentional punch thrown on a downed opponent with malicious intent by a losing fighter? That's a DQ no matter the outcome. He's lucky it was just a DQ. Margarito was caught before he could cheat and he still got suspended indefinitely. Abraham's cheating actually did some damage.

Besides, what's the ref's option? Call Dirrell a liar and tell him to get up and finish the fight? It's a bunch of bull****. Abraham is a **** and can't handle getting his ass whooped. It's a shame, I liked the guy before this happened.

I don't think you know how to read. It is an argument from negation. He states that he did not fake, and then points out that the issue of faking is utterly irrelevant by arguing from the FALSE position that even if he did fake it the outcome should still be the same.

Even had the ref not called the immediate DQ, there was no way the doctors would have allowed the fight to continue. I started to try and explain this to my wife and before I got very far she asked, "Well wouldn't the doctor's know?" Talk about cutting to the heart of the matter. In spite of what anyone thinks, there were two of them there and they are trained to know what to look for. Forget all of this crap "Well, I saw a fight in 1939 and when the guy got hit....".

I don't know if AD acted... Maybe he did.

However, what AA did has only one answer and that is a DQ.

I understand his frustration with Dirrell's repeated illigal bending below the waist line - even to the point where he will fall to the ground. The referees HAS TO enforce that this is illigal 0 take points off for it. IF they don't we obviously get fighters who are very frustrated with illigalities going unpunished.

So you're still an uptight douchebag even when it's your wife you are talking boxing with?

Time to put her on your ignore list.

Gotta love ESB. I watched this fight once and my opinion has yet to change despite all of these theories and attempts at reasoning. Fact - Dirrell slipped. He's always been a slippery ****er, especially when being pressured. He SLIPPED. Now, If you guys believe he was 'acting' with his reaction to the FOUL, by all means, believe it was an act. At the end of it all, he SLIPPED regardless of wether it was Abraham stepping up the pressure, or if it was a result of excess water in the ring. His slip paved the way for Abraham to take advantage of the moment. Does it realy matter if he was acting or was seriously hurt with a delayed reaction? DOES IT REALLY ****ING MATTER? REALLY?

More important discussions should be taking place, such as how Dirrell, after having went to Nottingham and being ROBBED of a victory (IMO) only to go up against another tough aggressive mother****er and OUTBOXING the **** out of him only to wind up unconscious in front of his hometown, robbed of his pride, dignity and self esteem. How is he to carry himself into his next fight knowing that in his past two fights, he went through hell mentally. Did this experience make his character stronger or is this experience along with the previous one DETRIMENTAL to his mental state. These are things we should primarily be focusing on.

Well....... If you are age 25, from Detroit and a homie, I guess you'd be a 'Dirrell' nut-rider from here to death do us part......... I understand...... I do NOT come from the Detroit ghetto, nor am I a big 'Dirrell' home boy...... So, **** YOU!!!

I am a PROUD Europe / American who is a fan of Art Abe from Armenia..... I do not care or like Detroit.............. I'd never move to Detroit......... You have a problem with my preference? What is wrong with not liking Detroit?? I think its a scum city... I'd rather live in Wake Forest, NC.

However, I'd really like to live in Oregon state........... Medford would be nice.....

Trust, nobody cares about what you think of Detroit. Detroit has more to offer into this world than your sorry ass ever will. Accept it. Dirrell was more a man when he was a boy than you are now. You're a boy. Abraham would not even acknowledge your sorry existence if you two bumped heads, but 'he's your man', right? That sounds like the words of a *****-made boy struggling to come to terms with himself. Of course you would rather live in a nice neighborhood, merely because you know deep inside that you don't have the character to last a year in Detroit, NYC, Philly, and any other city/neighborhood stricken by poverty. Your false sense of pride regarding your financial ability to live above these societal structures from which most of the greatest boxers, greatest musicians, greatest ART derived from, limits you from experiencing. I hope you change for the better.

I could have just wrote ' don't take this ****** seriously, he is full of **** and is too ignorant to understand his own limitations.' Hopefully I gave you something you can build on. Lataz.

Wow... You sound pretty upset........ I'm sorry you are bummed that I think Detroit and the Lions stink as a city and football team...... I can't help it if murder / crime and a lousy pro football team exist in that city.... Why blame me??? Corruption..... WTF?

I guess its my fault that the state / city is closing in on Tommy Hearns' home for back payments / taxes?? Blame America..... We did it to Hearns...... We forced him to go AWOL on Uncle Sam..........

    Why the bitterness?:-(:)admin:tong
