Yea watched 2 of his fights and looks like he has some potential!! I'll see him live because he is on the under-card of the Martinez/Pavlik fight!!!
His fight against Bruseles dissapointed me. I've seen Bruseles fight once before, that's when he fought Mayweather. Mayweather toyed with him, hurt him bad, and eventually got the stoppage. Now Jones is no Mayweather, but Mayweather was much smaller than Bruseles. Jones is much bigger than Bruseles and couldn't really hurt him. Jones was even getting backed up at times. Jones is really not progessing like I had hoped. Hopefully, he can develop into a solid B level guy.
Seems like a nice guy but yeah Im not sold on. Maybe it was just his fights that I seen but I wasnt excited to watch. Meanwhile another Philly cat (whos fighting on espn next mth) I saw and thought was fun to watch is 17-0 lightweight Hank Lundy (i also met recently and in addition to being very cool also had a healthy ego which gave me a laugh, hes one to watch)
I've seen Jones a couple times and he does have some potential. I was a bit disappointed with his Brusseles fight. He should have gotten him out of there but maybe it was just one of those fights. He's suppose to be back on one of Arum's Fox cards this summer. I hope he's matched tough.
