It's funny that PAc won fighter of the decade, yet wasn't ranked over Floyd even after beating MAB, EM and JMM. It wasn't until Floyd retired that Manny won this so-called fighter odf the decade award. If you ask me, PAc only won this corny award because boxing loves his aggressive style lol... Floyd never lost, and Pac has which confirms what I've posted lol...

6:25 imitation of Sam Peter...He could have gone for it. And it would've been great.

    It was a good interview.
His points are valid. Why would you say "I am not as great as XYZ" when you dedicated your whole life to being the greatest? Sugar Ray Robinson is my all time favorite fighter and I think he is better than Floyd but who am I to tell Floyd is not the greatest?
Sugar Ray mixed speed, with power and defense in an eerie way. Floyd has finesse with defensive speed and deceptive power. Would have been a nice fight but Ray Robinson would have broken body parts to get in that shell defense.

What's so funny about that? That was at the lower weight classes where it wasn't as amazing that Manny was beating up guys his own size. And it was at a time when Manny was getting by mainly on his talent, athletic ability and god given gifts. We saw an evolving Manny during that time but but when he beat DLH, Ricky, Cotto ect.

We saw Manny improve with his skills and ring intelligence which had him dominating much bigger men. Manny's been consistanting fighting HIGH level competition....while moving up in weight adding to the risk involved with being at a physical disadvantage where as before Manny at the lower weights Manny was at a technical disadvantage before vastly improving in skills.

Sure an agressive style is fun and exciting but to say that the "ONLY REASON" why Manny was awarded Fighter of the Decade was b/c of him being agressive is comical. Of course that award being given to PAC has NOTHING to do with what he's been doing in the ring consistantly for a decade.

Yeah, Manny was always at a disadvantage, yet he won big. My point is how did he win fighter of the decade, and he was not ranked ahead of Floyd when Floyd retired. Pac fought Hatton and Dlh who Floyd ebat first, and Pac fought Cotto at 145, and Clottey at 147...Floyd beats JMM easy who gave Pac hell, and PAc is fighter of the decade lol... GTFOOH lol...

Ali said "I am the greatest heavyweight of all time but Ray Robinson was the greatest fighter of all time."
It is a sign of respect for ones abilities. Truth is, Floyd is entitled to his opinion but we are as well. I think Kobe and Lebron can surpass MJ. They have the talent, youth and time. However, until YEARS of their retirement, no one will utter those sentiments. Once Floyd beats Mosley, Manny, Hopkins and the Klitchkos, someone will dare say... "maybe he was the greatest". Too bad it will take such feats to have that occur.

C'mon kid.....you got some major selective memories. Why is it that we get all these excuses for "WHY" Manny beat up DLH and Ricky FAAAAAR easier than Floyd did and also in a more dominating fashion while being the SMALLER man. Then when Floyd beats up JMM in a FAAAAR more dominating fashion than Manny we find it easy to leave out that not only was JMM 2 yrs older....he was fighting two weight classes above his natrual division, facing a YOUNGER, STRONGER, FASTER and PRIME Floyd in HIS natrual division? I don't even need to bring up the missing weight issue which was anther advantage for Floyd over JMM.

No double standard there! At least Manny was challenging himself against top guys in their own weight classes where his opposition was bigger, stronger and more powerful than himself. Floyd fought a great in JMM and it was a good win but let's be real......JMM didn't really have much of a chance even with all the **** he drank.

To surpass Ray Robinson and Leonard, he will have to do something NO ONE has done. If he became the first welterweight to win in addition to unifying the Heavyweight , Light heavyweight and Super middleweight crown that would be enough to cement his legacy.

I never realized how much some people love Floyd. Is this man loses his 0....I'm starting to think there's going to be a mass suicide on ESB.

Judging by the light swelling around his right cheek/eye, it looks like Floyd may have been touched up a little bit during his sparring.
