Im seeing a KO4. Ruiz hasnt had his chin tested by somene with the power of the Hayemaker, when David throws his right, Ruiz sleeps.

Tua tested him but Ruiz was wide open fighter then and Tua is much more raw than Haye.
Haye scoring usually some single perfectly timed shots, Tua is throwing a series of bombs
    ... Haye stands no chances.

I smell Ruiz KO Haye in later rounds, or Haye quits on his stool after a few brutal hugs.

I think a combination of the speed and power of Haye will see him stopping Ruiz in the middle rounds.

i have said it since the fight was made.

i belive ruiz has the style/durabilty and power to ko haye with a temple shot in a clinch or just a looping right hand.

if haye can ko ruiz , now that would impress me, i do not see it happening though, and if haye adopts the valuev stratergy , judges will give rounds to ruiz as the fight will stink the house out, albeit ruiz will be trying to land .

i am picking ruiz by ko.

haye needs way to long to recuperate after being tagged and ruiz will jump on him , if haye gets hurt.

I agree, but I think it'll take Haye about seven rounds to nail him with enough to put him down.

Ruiz will get up, but will be too wobbly to carry on.......TKO, round 7.

Haye needed 5 rounds to get rid of a shot Two Gunz Barrett, I'd think a shot 38 year old Ruiz will last at least as long.

there is no defenition of the word shot that john ruiz qualifies for.

he is not chinny, he can still let his hands go , he still has power, he does not get hit with silly shots,

he lost a disputed descion to valuev

    beat mcline

    was very close v chagaev

and last time out had a going through the motions win v an opponent.

he is one of my least favourite heavys.
i hate his style /hate how he can drag opponents down to his level, and would love for him to get KTFO in 1 round .

but shot , no way does ruiz qualify.

I see haye KO ing Ruiz either in first 2 rounds with a lucky punch or later on maybe round 9.

Hayes power and hand speed is amazing for a HW and he can end a fight with on punch. Haye is too athletic, too quick and is an explosive fighter when he wants to be. I expect Ruiz to get caught at some point then its lights out.

Don't know what round in this one but I'll say Haye gets the knockout. Jawny isn't the same guy that decisioned Holyfield with roughhouse tactics.

Haye is more explosive than Valuev or Chagaev. I don't see it going the distance.

I have a hard time believing that Haye's people would have allowed him to sign the contract were they not 100% convinced that he could beat 38 year old Ruiz. If he gets beat by Ruiz he becomes just another mediocre HW and a fight with a Klitschko (and all of that filthy $$) is down the drain. Therefore, Haye on points.

Good analysis. Haye W UD12. Easy night for Haye, fighting an old, 38 year old Ruiz. Haye can easily outbox and outrun him from the outside.
