Probably been done to death, but i am just curious to know who the posters on here consider their favourite fighters. Not a p4p list, just your favourites, the guys you have cheered for the most, followed their careers, looked back on, etc.. 1. Nigel Benn 2. Thomas Hearns 3. Erik Morales 4. Joe Frazier 5. Marvin Hagler 6. Manny Pacquiao 7. Rocky Marciano 8. Acelino Freitas 9. Oscar De La Hoya 10. Miguel Cotto
Very very hard and I don't have a static list, it's always changing. But right now - 01 - Charley Burley 02 - Joe Louis 03 - Orlando Canizales 04 - Bernard Hopkins 05 - Dick Tiger 06 - Micheal Watson 07 - Roman Gonzalez 08 - Joe Frazier 09 - Carlos Zarate 10 - Hozumi Hasegawa Like for example, up until this week I prefered Olivares to Zarate, Zarate wouldn't even have been in my ten a week ago but I been watching his fights this week. Also, active fighters have an advantage because I want to see what they do next. So I don't really like Hasegawa better than Liston or Gonzalez more than Frazier, but I'm keen toe see what they do next. The only two that are permanent on the list are 1 and 2. If you want a strictly classic list, Liston and Olivares would be 9 and 10 respectively.
I like your own list by the way, but I don't know how someone can like Cotto more than the other 5000 worthy fighters out there. How can someone like Cotto more than Ike Williams, you know?

Miguel Cotto to me was one of those guys you see early on in his career and see talent. Then you blab on about him to your friends saying hes gunna do this and that, and they dont believe you...then he steps up class and delivers, then delivers again, then delivers in a war. He has his flaws but he has pulled through in hard fights more often than not, and in my opinion he has the most stacked list of opponents of any relevant active fighter today. I always cheer for him. The Pacquiao fight i was split, but with all my friends being not so big on the sport, not even giving him a prayer against pacman, it made me hope for him to pull it off. He doesnt say ****, he just gets in their and works, i really like his character
