How much will Ruiz weigh? I'm gonna go with 236lbs so that he's not at his biggest, but he's big enough to lay on Haye and turn the fight gay.
He does look bigger in the pics but I'm going to have faith he's not much different. They've always been professional about this. 220lbs Ruiz looks smaller than he has been and has had an extra long training camp. I'm guessing 225lbs.
That's low for Ruiz isn't it? Didn't he weigh 225 for Jones Jnr, which was I think the lowest he's been? And that was 10yrs or so ago? EDIT Checked on boxrec and Ruiz has been lower a long time ago... And RJJ was 7 years ago... And he weighed 226 for RJJ... Damn this post was ****ing bang on the facts.
He was 227 for his last fight against Senin. If he's had the extra long training camp he claims he has, he should surely be around the same or lower unless he was purposefully intending to be heavier which flies against everything his trainer has said about his new style.
Just watching the news with Haye n Ruiz sizing each other up. Nice touch regarding Mr Haye saying he aint dishing up the smack talk etc and offering his hand. Anyways, i liked that. Some fighters he wants to wind up, some he wont. Anyways :thumbsup
