Dirrell boxed the **** outta Abraham, stood his ground, and made me a fan. Against Froch he ran and held like a ***** and it was one of the worst fights I ever seen. It was the type of fight if he DID win, nobody would wanna watch that **** on TV and more mother ****ers would be watchin UFC. Today, if the Dirrell that fought Abraham shows up, he more than likely wins and convincingly. But originally, no way. You don't win championships by running and holding like a *****.
I guess you win championships by rabbit punching, holding opponents head down and punching him oh and grabbbing and throwing your opponent.
Froch wasn't there to play around. He was there to fight. How you gonna punch a guy when he consistantly initiates a clinch? Back in the day, you would get booed out the club for that ****. Ain't nobody wanna see that ****. Maybe you oughta watch MMA if you like to see two guys with their shirts off givin eachother hugs.
yes he did ran a bit, yes he did hold a bit, and also he landed 10-1 in shots. watch the highlight if u forgot. u wouldn't find any froch footage of him hitting dirrell like that.
Willie Pep and Tunney were master clinchers you jackass and are still legends to this day. :rofl Hell its how Ali beat Spinks. Nothing wrong with clinching in boxing. The only difference here was, whenever Dirrell clinched, Froch would throw his hands up and let Dirrell push him around the ring so it looked worse then it was. Froch had no intentions of fighting in the clinch unless it was landing rabbit punches.
That was a good highlight. I had Froch-Dirrell as basically a draw, but Dirrell had a MUCH improved performance against Arthur Abraham and if he fights like that the rest of the tournament I have him winning the whole thing.
4 critrita of boxing are clean punching which dirrell was doing effective aggression which he was ring generalship which he utilize every part of the ring and defense. definitely froch didn't win that category. Dirrell got robbed plain and simple.
