I stopped recording fights quite awhile ago as like mostly everyone else I can find most fights on youtube but I can't find Tarver/Jones3 and I've been searching for years, anybody know what's up with that? I've never seen this fight.

Hard to watch. You could see just how gunshy and uneasy Jones was after the successive knockout losses in this match. He's been the same ever since. A scared fighter. Sad. Always get a good laugh at the cavepeople who think Roy's decline was all due to his having become magically "shot" overnight. Didn't have anything to do with him LOSING ALL HIS CONFIDENCE. NAH... Not in boxing. NOOOOOOOOOO... The game is only 90% mental mind you... Alot of those Missing Links couldn't believe their eyes when they saw how Jones was faster than Calzaghe. That was some sort of revelation. They'll still try and tell you it's all because "his legs are gone." That's why he shells up on the ropes and gets beat up. He can't walk anymore. :rofl

Dawson/Tarver must happen again. It was the most exciting fight I have ever seen!

Good post, agreed. Actually I'm watching this fight right now. Jones is a scared fighter in there. He happens to land a punch on Tarver and acts as if he just won the lottery.

If people want to see running in a boxing match, they should watch this fight to see what running actually is. Even in he 5th, where Jones had his best round in the trilogy, he had Tarver hurt but inexplicably chose to let him off the hook and back away. Sad indeed.

This fight kinda' reminded me of Jones/Pazienza. Jones (like Vinny) could'nt really mount an offense so (just like Vinny) he dances around, sticks his tongue out, and plays to the crowd like he's winning the fight! I'll never understand why fighters resort to this strategy or why their corners don't cuss them the hell out for it.
