of course thier are american inventions, but you keep bringing up the 'roots' of the English language, rather than the actual language today. And you dont respond to the plastic, HTML and boxing part of my post, only the part that you can counter.

TV gives us an impression of americans that you're all really dumb and plastic. Also when you speak, its like you over-pronounce every single word you say, like you would talk to a 3 year old child, and then you sometimes need subtitles to understand people from northern england on TV shows. Which makes it really annoying when you try to speak intelligent.

But me and a few friends were camping at the lake district, drinking, having some fun..and any adult over 30 yrs old in england assumes everyone that isnt miserable and quiet is a thug and upto no good, and they dont want anything to do with you and are completely ignorant and avoid you like your going to rob them. And anyway this 50+ american geezer came walking by with a big smile on his face and says, "hey guys! some fun in the sun, huh? this place is beautiful, huh? *random joke* hehehehe"

...and i thought old american guy is cool as ****. Just thought id share that with ya

McLarnin was born in Ireland to 2 Irish parents......he's 100% Irish and therefore 100% European, so including him on a list of ATG Americans is a bit silly.

    hahaha, NJ is ok

i grew up in PA, tri-state area, so PA, NJ, DE, it's all the same to me...i even lived in medford for awhile

if i really had to give away a piece of the US, i'd say texas, and the people go with the state :good

Yeah NJ really isn't as bad as people (comedians ie Seinfeld) claim. In fact if the opinion of our nations millionaires are worth any value then the fact that NJ has the 3rd highest amount of millionaires in the country should paint more truth than some stupid sitcom.

I do like TX though man, their BBQ's are off the hook and their women are damn hott. Not all but the ratio is quite satisfactory.

A state to give away huh? I'd have to think that one through.

I wondered when somebody would pick on it.

Funny thing is he didn´t even fight as an American but as an Canadian. So, he actually has nothing to do with America aside from fighting there. :deal

The fact that Eastern European couldn't fight as pros until 1989 (and then it took a few years to go pro) makes this thread pointless.

    This!!

The guy wears his xenophobia like some ****ing badge of honour!!

Try talking boxing instead of "Euro bashing", because i'd bet my two balls that when we get these guys to talk boxing, without the "Euro bashing" they will prove themselves to be good and knowledgeable posters!!
