Wow, the least likely option (to me) is the poll leader. It's crazy what happens when the British press trumpets long and loud about what a world-KOer somebody is. There are some who think Khan is going to blast Malignaggi out in a round thanks to that same influence. Malignaggi, who went long with Cotto.
hopkins has a 29 inch inch waist...and hes 44-45 years old...he couldnt put on that kind of weight at this point
Ill take HOPKINS via ud! Haye might aswell take the fight though. Hes already shown he wants no part of either klitscko.
I can't see this happening. Hopkins didn't fancy a fight v Adamek, so he sure won't fancy it against David Haye. In the very unlikely event it did happen, I would seriously fear for Hopkins' health
Haye has also said that he wants to fight the Klits... it looks like what Haye says and what he does are two separate things. A lot of people think Haye wouldn't fight Holyfield either - but I reckon it's a real possibility.
Yeah, I know. Look, this Haye - Klitschko thing has been done to death on here. I am so confident that Haye wouldn't fight either Hopkins or Holyfield that I would leave the forum for good if he did.
Of course David will KO a 45 year old hopkins, but what is this all about? Hopkins, Valuev rematch, winner Meehan vs Chagaev, Holyfield, Adamek, Harrison... what happened to 'real contenders' ? Next up, Riddick Bowe?
Whatever way you try and find a reason for Hopkins to win, there just isn't really a valid one. Experience and ring generalship are good assets to have, but when you're giving away so much physically.....I just can't see it working out for Hopkins. Hopkins isn't a prime Roy Jones, and Haye is not John Ruiz.
