Liston had an alright showing the first time around and the 2nd fight was a fix.

    Willie Pep.

Not being able to hit him would drive you nuts.

Initially I thought you were being sarcastic because everything you suggested was the opposite of reality, but then it dawned on me you were genuinely borderline ******ed. You're right, Mayweather is one of the slowest, unslickest, powerless boxers ever to grace our fine sport.

I don't get the posts that claim Mayweather can't punch.

It depends on your own style and strengths.

Someone like Calzaghe would be chickenfeed for a counterpuncher with power and accuracy. The supermiddleweight James Toney would find Calzaghe's wide-open chasm defence a ****ing dream, he'd be bouncing the counter right off Calzaghe's stationary skull all night long, the knockdowns would flow like wine.

I think the most demotivating opponent would be the light-middleweight version of Winky Wright.

Shane Mosley is one of the most competitive and proud fighters I've ever seen, but at points in his fights with Wright he looked lost at sea. Winky did the Clottey defence, but a thousand times better than Clottey, or Arthur Abraham do it. You can't hit Winky cleanly, he has a SUPERB jab that you can't keep out your face all night, and he can actually be really aggressive and active too... NIGHTMARE opponent!

I agree. There's more than a few clowns posting on here that fail to understand that a fighter cannot maintain and control distance without having a decent amount of pop in his punches.

John Ruiz, some nasty sweaty ****er who would rather hug you than fight :lol:

Then you get blamed for being in a boring ass fight, and lose half your fans :-(

Agreed on B-Hop. The guy is a masterful defensive fighter, ring general and is just crafty.

Ruiz - Every time you try to get into a groove, he's hugging you.

Prime RJJ - Not only is he whipping your ass, he's showing off dance moves and flirting with your woman at the same time.

Prime Tyson - You know its going to hurt...bad... its just a matter of time

Emmanuel Agustus - WTF is that guy doing over there?

Naseem Hamed - What could be be worse than getting beat down by a clown on a magic carpet?

Floyd mayweather, the more punches you throw at him, the more you miss and the more you pay. Hitting air most of the time whilst eating leather in return is very demotivating. Hell, watching baldo trying to get at mayweather even corner him was demoralising. In one sequence floyd just stands in the corner with the much slower opponent and makes baldo miss about 7 punches.
