Werent you the one not so long ago claiming abraham and the Klitchkos as germans since they were citizens? Well Mcclarnin was an American citizen and lived the majority of his life there. Im honored to have met him back in 01 at the WBHOF vip bangquet party, saw a little old man walkiing around and had no idea who he was until a friend of mine who was on the board introduce me, i was totally surprised as i knew of him but figured he probably died a long time ago, he died a couple years later.

    'Tag Bodhi.

Why do you hate us, mate? I'm just interested why you would have such a strong passion against us?

I hope that isn't a feeling shared by the majority of Germans, cause I (and we Brits in general actually, although we like to wind you up, especially around World Cup time, it is always lighthearted. We do have lots of respect for you lot!) absolutely love you lot! Seriously. I had a girlfriend from Mecklanberg, so I spent a lot of time in Germany and it wasn't long before I realised it was my favourite country, full of my favourite people in the World! I'd give anything to be able to move back there!

Oh Well. It doesn't really matter but I hope you can visit and change your mind one day.

By the way. I think the term "Island Monkeys" (insallafen, isn't it?) is absolutely fantastic and sums us up pretty brilliantly! Especially when we are abroad.

    Tschuss!

Who the hell's saying that bollocks?! That's pretty disgusting! What right do they have to tell someone what nationality they should be?!

If Ali et al were termed African instead of American - despite Ali and several generations of his ancestry never having set foot in Africa before his big fight - then no one can consider themself American.

If a black man, who's family have all been born in America for 300 years cannot call himself American, then what right does a white man who's family came to America from UK or Italy or anywhere just two generations before him? If that black man cannot call himself American then there can be no such thing as an American!

    Disgraceful attitude!

Wayne Rooney was a boxer and would likely have turned professional if he didn't realise that he could be one of the best footballers in the World.

He has actually done a few friendly rounds with Ricky.

**** me, are you STILL chatting ****?!

Who are "they"? Brits? You're always trying to be derogatory about Brits, so I guess it must be.

We will claim Amir and Lennox and do you know why? Because they are both British!

Some Americans jealously try and claim that Lennox isn't British but I doubt they would dare say that to him and Kahn is just simply British! It is the most obvious thing in the World!

You Americans are so ****ed up about race. That much, if people didn't already know, became very obvious during Obama's climb to the throne. No other developed nation comes any where near to the racism of the USA. If a person isn't inherently and outwardly racist, then they are panicking and doing their best to prove to everyone that they are not racist, which of course actually does make them racist.

    What a confused society!

Arran. You're better than bringing up that old, boring argument, mate. You don't need that to make your point.

Yanks and Brits get on fantastically together. It's hard to find a better, funnier, more likable group of people than, say, a group of 50% Brits and 50% Americans in a pub or bar.
The only combo that has a better time, in my experience, would be Brits and Aussies (with maybe a couple of Irish thrown in).

For some reason though, we all act like absolute ****s with each other when we're on the internet!

    Well said!

    <gives standing avation>

So, after all that, pages of bollocks by Americans and Euro's, it took an Aussie to bring something sensible and level headed to the table.

The Klitschkos aren´t German citizens. :-(

Didn´t know he had American citizenship. Thought he was Canadian. Well, if he was American too, I made no mistake including him. Good to hear I made no mistake and am still perfect. :good

I don´t hate the English. I just love to hate on the English. Especially when English are around. It´s fun :D

It´s "Inselaffen" btw. And yeah, I love the term also.

My ex-boss was English and I hate him. He mobbed me for months and finally got me fired because I snatched a girl away from him. He was interested in her but she didn´t want him but me. Well, she also was a colleague of us.

Wow. Not only arrogance but unsolicited, xenophobic, supremacist arrogance.

Yep, you could only be American, or perhaps Russian (if you were slightly less ignorant).

Once you understand that "Euros", as you put them, don't think like a ****** like you, you might stop wasting your time with threads that only serve to underline your ignorance!!

And no wikipedia'd BS about the origins of our language is gonna suddenly make me think you're in the slightest bit educated on the matter...

Yeh, European boxers aren't historically as good as American boxers.....and your point is????????????
