what do you guys think of this little gem that Nazim dropped?

Ten years ago it's a different fight. Ten years ago Shane knocks him out. Ten years ago Floyd wasn't ready. The time is right now. It wouldn't of been a fraction of the money it is now, or a fraction of the satisfaction.

He probably would of since Mayweather was still fighting at 130 while Mosley was going to war with De La Hoya at 147.

It's like Nazim is already saying this like an excuse for Mosley losing May 1st. Hope I'm wrong.

    Not quite.

It sounds as though Nazim is saying now is the perfect time for this fight to be made. As a fight now pits a peak Mayweather against Mosley, in a fight that generates maximum hype and revenue.

10 years ago there wouldn't be as much excitement, and Shane beating a young green Mayweather wouldn't be as meaningful as beating a prime top dog Mayweather.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Mosley has more to gain from this fight taking place now.

It's very possible that Shane could have KO'd mayweather at 130 ten years ago. Back then Floyd was very aggressive.

Agree with Naz, 10 years ago SMM was a beast.

That is what I hear. Why doesn't he say Shane will knock him out now?

Mosley can't outbox mayweather, and I don't see him koing him neither. I predict a masterpiece on behalf of Mayweather.

He's probably doing this to hype the fight, but there is truth to his words, the timing isn't that bad, SSM is experienced and probably very motivated, he beat margarito and the winner of this fight is WW nr 1 imo, with Pac being 2nd and the logical next opponent.

Hope Mosley can do some damage and pull of the upset.

Knows he's going to lose so is just getting in his stealthy excuses.

Pretty confident this will be a 2 or 3 round clear victory for floyd with mosley having some good moments and will look the best anyone has since castillo against floyd.Ultimately though mosley will feel the pace and tire later on, allowing floyd to pull clear and might even end up ko'd by floyd as unlikely as that may sound.
