Roy was on the downside but not a shot fighter. He was still pretty good, and now he can be ok if he doesn't get hit square on the chin.

 

It is those same people who said that Lewis would be too good for a prime Tyson.

 

That was such a pathetic version of Tyson compared to his heyday it took lennox 8 rounds to do it and against a hungry prime Tyson i cant imagine Lennox surviving that fight

 

And like that version Tyson, Roy still has a bunch of fans and yes-men who thinks he's still got it no matter how bad it gets.

 

as much as I hate to say it, mcbride and williams beat tyson within 5 rounds so only stupid boxing fans will take tyson last few fights seriously

Roy was a name to add to his record as a way of signing off. He obviously had something left but was probably only good for about 4 - 6 rounds. He looked okay in patches but obviously nothing like the Roy of old. It's a shame people give Calzaghe so much **** on here.
