so then put your money on Haye and wait.....wait for his knockout of ruiz. ..... ruiz is an old man that never fought anyone...this is ruiz's big shot to fight such a guy like david haye.... history will be written... whatta guy. ruiz will shudder at the power of someone like haye. .... gimmie a break bro... haye is dangerous then?....since when?
has anyone actually seen john ruizs last 10 WBA title fights 13 if you count the WBA ELIMAINATORS? they are all ****ing horrible, he hits, holds, complains, cries, hugs, hugs, cries....out of those 13 fights , he has went 10 rounds or more ..all 13 fights...1 tko in 11 and won a dq in 10. the rest went 12. hes so painfully sloppy and boring he loses alot of them and has been beaten and slapped around by 2 former middleweights in toney and jones. yeah, real dangerous !!!
the utter fool is the WBA for making him a mandatory...and for you to actually believe it, support and condone it :rofl:roflatsch
agreed it is a joke that ruiz is mandatory but thats the way it is. im just saying that haye is not one to duck dangerous fights - anyone who says that has not followed his career - and has only been conscious of him during the klitschko saga.
He's about as dangerous as many other heavyweights. He's not the best but he's not the worst either, not by a long shot. Vitali is fighting Albert Sosnowski, so hey, it could be worse.
I agree with the TS. If Haye is going to be a threat in the Heavyweight division then he needs to KO this washed up never-has-been within 6 rounds or less. The only exception is Haye can't get any shots off and Ruiz hugs his way to a 12 round UD shutout loss.
Ruiz is....well Ruiz. I'm no fan of the guy but he certainly is not a bum. He's stuck around the HW scene for ages and has a very difficult to deal with style should you get sucked into it. Just ask Hasim Rahman, Holyfield, Golota(who I thought deserved to win), and Oquendo. He doesn't inspire the imagination by any means with his skill set, which is very unassumingly non awe-inspiring. But if he were so bad, he never would have beaten those names. Haye needs names for his sparse HW resume, and Ruiz would be a good scalp to have....especially if he stops him(his durability is unrrated...hasn't been stopped since Tua iced him back in 1996) Plus Haye needs to show us all that there is something special about him besides his mouth by decisively busting through Ruiz's snooze inducing yet effective style. Other heavies of the past who are more established heavies then Haye have failed to effectively do so. If Haye wants us to stand behind him in having a legitimate chance of beating either Klitschko brother, then he MUST decisively stop Ruiz. And should he lose to Ruiz(particularly by stoppage) then he needs to reserve a hole in an undisclosed location to hide in
John Ruiz is a very tough opponent if you are not 100% on your game.. At top level John has kept winning or at least very active globally.... Its a good benchmark test for David, if he can't do a job on John he is not what he says he is... Haye is a good heavyweight, but now its time to prove your worth as a champion.. Ruiz has been at Championship level for 10 years... Ask Kirk Johnson about how tough a man he is to beat.. Ruiz always seems to find a way to win... Haye has to prove otherwise tonight..
lol what a load of ***gots in this thread, Ruiz is no worse than the fat plodding opponents the Klits have faced recently.
Ruiz will be destroyed in the early rounds. He is past his prime and he wouldnt win against Haye, even if he still was in his prime. Ruiz has no change in this one. Hayemaker KO 2
