Just when I think an earlier post of yours scrapes the bottom of the barrel with the sheer feelings of contempt you arouse in me, you reach newer lows. Congratulations

    Fightnews:
Golden Boy Promotions has announced that Saturday’s Bernard Hopkins vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view telecast will only be available on pay-per-view and will not be shown on a delayed broadcast by HBO the following week, as is commonly the case. The company also announced that the $49.95 pay-per-view telecast will be aggressively monitored on the internet and any piracy and/or infringements will be legally dealt with in a swift and immediate manner.

 GBP obviously feel threatened that more people will be streaming than buying this abortion of a fight.

I hope that you don't buy any Green or Mundine fights then, they are always fighting bums and telling the public that it's a quality opponent they're facing. Atleast Jones was great, Hopkins still is and they'll be in the ring together for the first time since that night 17 years ago. It won't be the fight it could've been ten years ago but Roy will always have a bad style for Hopkins so nothing would surprise me in this fight. I think if you don't want to watch this fight then you're not a fan of boxing or it's history.
Of course Hopkins isn't going to fight a guy like Dawson, the same reason Green would never fight a guy like Dawson. You're almost guaranteed a loss for a lesser reward.

That's because you believe the whole Green v Jones fiasco was a legit fight, I think that fight took nothing away from Jones and didn't elevate Green in the slightest. As I've said I look at that fight as a no contest. Regardless of what happened in the ring that night you have to admit Jones didn't take Green seriously so you know he isn't going to be out of shape for Hopkins. It's a legend versus a legend, stop being a snob and enjoy this historical fight.

I think Roy is in Hopkins head to be honest, I'm going out on a limb and predicting Jones by points, maybe even late stoppage.

I'll give you this Lefty, you're a real fight fan. Seriously.

When you can watch any fight with just a hope of a good fight, that's unfettered support.

I couldn't pick the winner in this, not because of the varying skills, but because it could become an absolute fiasco.
If they were both full of mongrel & it had a meaniful ambition it would be something to watch, but the way things work in boxing, it's $$$$$$$$$$

I think Roy is used to getting beat now. 'Nard isn't, & I think that's the difference.

    Listen to yourself.

ONE ****ING ROUND and Greens first real Power shot had Jones Hurt.

The fight would have panned out far worse if it was to continue.

    Get a ****ing Clue.

The fact that someone as prone to narcolepsy as Jones was hit in that spot and managed to get up still amazes me, Roy got up and his arms were getting amateurishly slapped by Green, the ref freaked out and it was stopped. Green wasn't hitting anything and Roys head was clearing. I'm certain had the fight gone on green would've got the beating everyone expected him to. You need to get the ability to think for yourself instead of looking at a result and declaring it open and shut.
Everybody intuitively knows that Green got lucky that night whether they admit it or not, that's why Greens stocks haven't raised in the slightest and he's back to calling out Mundine and fighting guys like Siaca. After the Jones fight there was all that talk of Hopkins, then Holyfield, then Tarver. Let's be real, Green is even more of a nobody on the world scene than Mundine, even after getting the result of KO1 Roy Jones on his resume. Why do you think that is?

Congratulations Lefty, always thought it would be tough to knock off 20a87 or The Midget as the forums biggest **** but you really take things to a new level! You constantly show a complete lack of any kind of insight into the sport and going for some around here that is quite an effort. You are to be saluted....
