No ****, it is simply not possible - unless you stopped watching his career about 2 years ago and have been living under a rock since then.

Believe it or not I was a Haye fan back then too. Back when he was a cruiser and actually seemed like he wanted to prove something I was telling people on this forum to watch out for his fights.

What a catastrophic **** up that turned out to be. I can't think of any fighter less worthy of being a fan of (barring Valero style wifebeaters or Margarito style cheaters). Of course there are still fans of Valero and Margarito too...

Hatton was quality. He was genuinely funny, he wasn't offensive, and he really wanted to prove he was the best. He didn't duck anyone.

I like a lot of British fighters. I liked Hatton, Calzaghe, Lewis etc etc.

But Haye is a ****. I'd say that his fans deserve better, but they don't: they are the reason he acts like a ****. The onus is on them to say "Haye, quit being a ***** or we can't support you". While they give him a free pass everytime - it's just logic that he will take advantage of it and avoid serious challenges.

and to put haye next to guys like margarito and valero just shows the kind of hater you are, you dont give a **** how nice haye is, what is it, because he's black?

give it a rest, most people like Haye because he brings excitement and vulnerability to the ring or they are just following there fellow Brit, what is wrong with supporting a fellow Brit. To sit there and type how people are anti-Klit yet take the **** out of Haye is lost on me as it makes your post completley and utterly stupid, your commiting the crime that your accusing.... not clever:good

 

There are a lot of interviews and snippets I have seen where he actually comes across as a sound bloke. That's why a lot of the trash talk I take with a pinch of salt and realise he is doing this for the hype, the promotion and the fact that more people will pay to see him - whether it's for the fact they like Haye or want to see him lose. I can see why Haye isn't everyone's cup of tea. Mayweather talks an obscene amount of **** it's cringeworthy at times. Still I won't go on the offensive with the guy and discredit everyone he's faced as people do with Haye. I realise a lot of what he does is for the camera.

 

I have heard the same about Floyd..."he is nice guy when you meet him in person".

None of that changes the fact that both make asses out of themselves on camera!
