Looks like you're about as reasonable as your Avatar. Chambers beat Peter, Dimentrenko and gave Povetkin a run for his money in the last couple of years. What, pray tell, has Ruiz done. I'll answer that for you since obvious you are mentally impaired...the answer is nothing. 4-3 record over the past 5 years. No impressive wins. atsch
Chambers is better than Ruiz, for one. I dont know much about fat-boy Arreola. Thompson may be better than Ruiz. Ruiz has to be rated about same as Holyfield.
Look at this guys last 5 fights, compare them to say Chambers. He clearly isn't the best american heavyweight.
Chambers is a very good fighter. He had a horrible stylistic matchup with Klitschko, but that doesn't mean he still couldn't outbox 95 percent of the heavies out there, including Haye.
Actually, it is a yes or no question. Before you start blasting posters, why don't you wait to see who wins tonight. If Ruiz wins, then it is Haye who is doing LSD. Well, name a American HW. I doubt that Vlad would have blasted out Ruiz the way he blasted out Chambers. Chambers should most definitely go down to CW.
I'd say Ruiz is the best American. Of course, that's not saying much when the next best American is Fat Eddie Chambers. Haye should be able to defeat Ruiz, but unless there is a knock out, It does not say much. Ruiz is way old, and he's lost quite a bit in the past couple of years. A decision won't impress. Knocking out Ruiz would be a statement because no one has been able to do it since Tua.
I am positive Wlad would have blasted out Ruiz worse than Chambers. Ruiz was greatly troubled by Roy Jones speed and movement from the outside. Wlad, while not as fast as Roy, is faster of hand and foot than Ruiz and is an excellent outside fighter. If Valuev's slow as **** jab was able to keep Ruiz at bay then Wlad's jab would bust him up and allow for some serious right hand bombs to crack that chin.
Before you comment, you might want to consider the fact that Ruiz is not the same fighter that he was 5-years ago. He has done virtually nothing in half a decade. He's had 7 fights, a record of 4-3 with no notable wins. And as far as Wlad is concerned, one of the reasons Ruiz was effective with his hugging style is because he management team deliberately matched him with guys who couldn't punch. I mean, the two times he got in the ring with guys who could punch he was blasted out in 17 seconds (Tua) and knocked down twice (Golota). Name me some other big punchers that Ruiz fought. Wlad would Kayoed Ruiz with ease. Just an opinion, but one that takes into account all the facts.
Ruiz is our hero. We have complete faith in him, love him and cherish him. He is our symbol of freedom. If he loses, our spirit will be crushed and we shall all commit suicide.
A cockroach trying to educate me here, and it has attitude. Chambers got knocked out cold in his last fight, was barely winning a minute of every round, beat Peter who was coming off a one sided ass ripping to Vitali who was inactive for 4 years. Dimitrenko?, wake the **** up, was Dimitrenko any useful ANYWAY?, he wasn't even hyped because people knew the guy is as basic and robotic as it gets and it was about time someone beats his ass. To put an end to this Chambers bull****, he also got his ass beat against Povetkin. So the only thing you can brag about is a win over Peter. Let's compare that to Ruiz, a former champion who didn't reign for one minute. He obviously had extremely close fights against Valuev and Chagaev, both fights I thought were daylight robberies in favor of these guys who were representing a German promoter in Germany in a fight where Ruiz was clearly competitive and let me remind you that this was an undefeated Chagaev that Ruiz was robbed against as he was against Valuev. Let's compare that with a win over Samuel Peter. I'll use common sense and you can continue to use boxrec, ape.
