Man you have no basic boxing analysis game in you at all if you think that. How in the hell is JMM suppose to stop Cotto coming at him, trapping him, and outright destroying him?

JMM was getting tagged by Juan Diaz, he couldnt keep out of range all night, it was a war. You think JMM will survive a war with Cotto to outpoint him? No chance. Absolutely 0, none, I would bet my lifesavings on it. Cotto will corner him, trap him, they will trade, and JMM will get KTFO, because believe it or not, he is actually not that hard to hit if you are prepared to take his oncoming punches, specially past 135. Just watch his fight with Juan Diaz.

Cotto cornered Pac who is very fast on his feet, battered him in fact just check after fight pics, he went to war with Shane, cornered Ghanian Wall in Clottey and the only one he could not war with was Margo with bricks.

JMM is a FW good enough to fight at SFW.

I'll say this again, if Berestein thinks JMM is not good enough for Khan at 140, he has no bloody chance against Cotto at 147. They recognise this, thats why despite big money fights being at 140/147, they are going back to 135 to have a meaningless rematch with Juan Diaz.

 

r u serious he came in 2lbs over weight or was it 1.....so what he didnt strain himself to make the weight neither did marquez this is argument if its like the guzman funeka fight where one guys strains to make the weight and the other guy just does what he wants...

that is not an acceptable argument in regards to this fight only one fighter would have been at a disadvantage making that weight and it wouldve been mayweather

 

It's the fact he should have already been down to 140 to even meet the guy, instead he took him way into deep waters and didn't even have the courtesy to knock him out.

 

i agree about not having the courtesy to knock him out but the beginning of what your saying is bull****.....its a lot easier to come up in weight than to go down stfu...

 

The same way he stopped pac who is far more aggressive and faster than cotto...

It's also a lot easier to look horrible going up in weight for your first time 2 weight divisions.

 

They progressed to the weight,Duran had many fights at 140 and 147 before he got a shot a SRL and Mosley also had a couple of fights at 147 before he got a shot at DLH,they didnt went straight to one of the top guys at the weight in their first fight like JMM did,also both of them were bigger than JMM who was basically a blown up feather.

 

At 130lbs!!!! WTF is it you *****s not getting? There is a big difference between stopping a 130lb Pac and 147lb Cotto. Must I get a picture of a 130lb Pac next to a 147lb Cotto to show you the size difference???

Meanwhile we have JMM who looks like a FW who had too much pies to reach WW.

At 130, JMM was prime physical shape, so he could handle a beast like Pac. At 147, it would be a blown up FW in JMM trying to handle a true 147lb fighter in Pac or Cotto. They will walk through his punches and hammer him down.

Besides 2 different styles, Cotto is a stalker, his style is somewhat more similar to Diaz who walks you down and imposes his size on you, Pac is a akward boxerpuncher/brawler. Cotto will impose his size on JMM and end the fight inside 3 rounds.
