I shot these last night at the Grand Casino Hinckley (Minnesota): Vanda vs. Kolle II. Just after the second match the ring just caved in. Aside from the four corners, all I saw for center edge ring support were these stands no thicker than table legs.

    Thanks guys.

The camera is to the photographer as the glove is to the boxer. It ultimately comes down to the worker behind the equipment.

yeah i understand very well and did not mean to offend. those where nice shots irrespective of the camera. my apologies coz i'm in the middle of finding a good SLR type as a new hobby for myself.

No problem, and no offense taken.

I'm shooting with a 7D; before that I spent the last 2 years shooting with a 40D, and before that I spent my first year shooting with an XTi. The biggest difference between the models is the higher end cameras shoot faster, have better auto focusing, and allow me to shoot better shots under worse conditions. That's just an abridged version, and by no means comprehensive. That said, under ideal conditions one would be hard pressed to see the difference between images taken between the respective cameras.
