    Rarely has a warrior deserved as much respect from fight fans as Jamie Moore.

    The ultimate of ultimate warriors, Jamie Moore has left nothing in that ring, owes fight fans absolutely nothing, and it has been my greatest personal privilege to either tune in or sit ringside at one of his fabled blood-and-thunder contests.

    And, by Christ, what contests they were.

    Jamie, whatever you decide to do, it is your decision. Be it another crack at SMW, or a well-deserved retirement, we will respect you for it, as we have always done.

    Boxing has its share of horrible people, we've all come across them. Then there are folks like Jamie Moore, or Ryan Rhodes, or fights like Brodie-Swain, that make you realise why you fell in love with this hard, tough industry in the first place.

    Thank you for everything, champ. By the way, it's not only British, Commonwealth and Euro titles that Jamie wore with such valour - he won the Irish LMW title with distinction and class also.

    And when a man like Jamie Moore took so much pride in winning the Irish title, it inspired the next generation of Irish fighters so much that we now see Irish title classics adorn every promotion that takes place over here.

    Sky and RTE could do an awful lot worse than have Jamie, a self-confessed boxing nut with such an amiable personality, promoting their shows and providing top-class fight analysis.

    The journey is not over, whatever course you take. Thank you for everything so far, pal.

    From the Ring Entrance to the Fight Jamie brought entertainment. His will to win was unmatched for many a year and he's been a fantastic servant to the sport. He hasn't had a bucket load of meaningless bouts he's more about quality then quantity. Rarely in a bad fight and we be remembered up there with the other warriors of this era.

    Just got in now after getting a last minute ticket, gutted about what happened to him in there.

    From the opening bell I was a bit concerned for him, I think the loss last time took a lot out of him along with plenty of hard fights in the past.

    Great fighter to watch, seems a good lad as well.... hopefully he's made a fair few quid and can be successful in a new venture.

    I don't blame him for being pissed off, fighters that aren't fit to lace his boots have been given world title opportunities and he's been left on the shelf, which is a real shame.

    Spot on beeston Great entertainment but from the ring walk it look to me that he had lost his edge. Thats the best night boxing I have been to.

    Jamie Moore i salute you, you are an awesome fighter and your fights will be rememberd for years and years to come, the Macklin war was truely spectacular,

    Whatever you decide to do we will be behind you 100% wether it be one last hurrah or a well-deserved retirement.

    I also agree with what you said post-fight, i dont think you get the credit you are more than due and i think people will recognize just how entertaining you were when you decide to hang them up.

    A great gutsy fighter who will be talked about for years to come...:yep

    I went to the show last night and don't know why they pulled him out...:think

    I thought he was going to get stopped in the round before.

    Whatever Jamie Moore decides to do I am sure that all the ESB British Forum will wish him well...:happy

    My sentiments exactly. Didnt matter who the opponent was Jamie guarenteed a good fight. The majority of the live shows ive gone to have been because of Jamie, a guarenteed performer and true warrior and like he said in the interview he was very underrated. Enjoy your time off with the family mate and whatever happens from now, I'll always remember the enjoyment you gave the rel boxing fans.....Cheers mate

    Jamie is a legend and will be remembered as one of the most exciting fighters from these times from these shores.

    Was gutted to see someone in the ring last night who looked like Jamie but it wasn't him there, from the start it wasn't right. Mind you it was a tough tough match to come back to, although an easy match might have disguised the reality.

    Been in some amazing fights over the years, and absolutely nothing to prove so hope Jamie thinks about what he's got left before lacing the gloves on again.

    Moore is a legend of modern boxing. He has given us fans some special fights and won some very good titles. I will be gutted if he does call it a day and does not get back to winning ways at least on the domestic title front. Very unlucky with unjury and dodgy European fighters not fighting him.


    Best of luck to the man in what ever he decides to do next.

    It will be sad to see him retire. I wish him and his family well.

    If this is the end of Jamie's career i'd just like to echo the sentiments of others, in stating what a great career he's had.
    A Lonsdale belt for keeps, as well as Commonwealth & European titles all won in terrific bouts; i'm only saddened that as the man himself stated on this forum that he never got the opportunity to fight for a world title that lesser fighters from these shores have had.
    If he had been managed better and treated more kindly by the sanctioning bodies, i'm sure he would've won and defended a legit world title.
    A true crowd pleaser, whose willingness to put it all the line each and every time will not be forgotten.
