Although it seems contradictory to me, i understand where you're coming from But putting aside the terms "higher p4p" would you say that Froch is better than Dirrell?
In what sense? He's beat better fighters...so he'd be higher p4p and that is how you determine who the best are.
Right Now 1. Mayweather Jr. 2. Pacquiao 3. Dawson 4.Mosley 5. Gamboa All time among active boxers 1. Jones Jr. 2. Mayweather Jr. 3. Toney 4. Pacquiao 5. Mosley
just saw a Freddy Roach interview on youtube, he says he hasn't been as excited about training a fighter since Pacquiao. And he also thinks Rigondeaux will be p4p#1
He is a very good fighter but he is already 29, he needs to pick it up if he going to be p4p No.1 in the future.
top 5 are... mayweather marquez pacquiao dawson hopkins ...................... alexander gamboa khan bute haye donaire....... all worth a mention!! ............................ canzoneri calzaghe jones jr (soon) ali robinson...... my favourite retired list
I consider talent more of god given gifts like speed and reflexs and in that case guys like Hopkins and JMM belong no where near a top 5 they are just amazingly skilled fighters. Talent wise I think Gamboa and Dirrell are the two most talented guys around then theres Mayweather, Dawson, Berto, Manny ect.
Andre Ward is spectacular. People talk about the headbutts but he was making Kessler look like a sparring partner even before they occurred.
Khan might not have the best of chin , but his gift of handspeed is bar none, even Roach says Khan is faster than p4p No.1 Pacman.
Demetrius Andrade looked pretty spectacular against a practice dummy on ESPN 2 the other night. He's largely untested, but obviously possesses superb talent.
