I am perplexed at his behaviour, was he gassed in there and needed breaks, what was it?! Even if by some miracle he was genuinely hurt, he'll not win over fans by laying on the floor crying over it, when he initiated the rabbit punches. I thought he was looking rather good up untill that point aswell, then the foul fest really got a hold of the bout and seeing him on the floor was almost like watching Italy play a world cup final.:think
Looked to me like he was tryin to get Roy dq'd. No way he was that hurt, that acting was the worst I've ever seen and was comparable to the way they act in soccer.
Hopkins is the biggest cheat in the sport. Bernard "the crybaby" Hopkins. When he loses a fight he stares into the camera absolutely incredulous ("I'm a victim - wahhhhhhh!!!!"). When the ref isn't looking he throws low blows and headbutts, but if something happens to him it's the crime of the century. Squirming in the floor like a two year old that didn't get ice-cream. ("I was seeein stars the last 6 rounds!!!"). He's not old school, he's preschool. I hope he does fight Haye, especially since he's #4 P4P in the magazine owned by his promotional partner. ODL is ruining boxing worse than Don King did. Haye will make him see stars for real, and probably crack his skull in the process. THAT would be worth $50 on PPV.
You're just jealous Italy has won 4 world cups and England barely managed to win one (just because they were playing in England in front of the queen). :verysad
As Hopkins is supposedly a distinguished speaker on true old school boxing, one has to ponder why he spends a good few minutes in a fight touted as the revenge, crying like a *****, after Roy Jones just retaliated.
Im starting to wonder if Roy had him hurt at any point ..You could tell all that acting **** affected Roy as he was worried about getting DQ ED .
I don't think he's fighting for the fans anymore. Seems to me he wants to satisfy himself by doing two things. Beating RJJ (accomplished), and being a heavyweight world champion (so that he can have self closure against RJJ).
roy may have lost on the scorecards but in my book hes the true winner, bernard and roy were always my favourite fighters growing up its just a shame that b-hop acted this way hes lost a great deal of my respect,i think he actually feared roy and was looking for a way out
Yeah no doubt Bhop tried everything his might to DQ Jones but thankfully the judges and ring doctors which I think already learned from the Dirrell-Abraham fight and did not buy Hopkins acting prowess. It will be so bad for the Executioner fans if Hopkins won the fight by DQ, which in my expectation it will gone to lopside match up favorable for Bhop. I was wrong.
