He took out Ruiz just like he should have. Although I don't think much of John Ruiz, only top fighters have been able to beat him thoroughly. Haye looked sorta sloppy, but I chalk that up to him really trying to make an impression. He showed very good speed, good power, and that he is a legit top heavyweight contender to Wladimir Klitschko. I am happy that Haye didn't fight Wlad when they were scheduled to fight. Only because now he has proven with wins over Valuev and Ruiz that he belongs in the heavyweight division, and is a true heavyweight as this point. Now that he is well established. Let's hope that this leads to a MEGA- Showdown with Wladimir Klitschko.

I have a feeling that if Haye fights either Klitschko that he is going to try to take a crack at Vitali first. I don't blame him because I think that this is a much more winnable fight for him. Vitali would obviously be the favorite, but Haye's chances against Vitali are much greater than his chances against Wlad. I can see Haye having some success against Vitali if he were to come in fast, get his punches off... spin out... and get back away. Vitali's reflexes aren't what they used to be, and he doesn't move nearly as good as he used to. Haye would be smart to use this to his advantage. Then again, Haye is going to have an extremely tiny margin for error. Vitali isn't easy to hit, and he definitely needs to watch overextending himself because Vitali is extremely adept at counter punching his opponents as they are out of position. Very interesting fight and I couldn't blame Haye if he went for this one first. Of course it isn't likely that he would win that fight. Imagine if he were to beat Vitali though? Can you imagine the Unification fight showdown with Wlad at that point? That would be HUGE!

yea Haye looked good but I think if he's gonna stand a chance to defeat one of the Klits it will be Wlad not Vitali.

I used to think that was the case too but Wlad is looking hellish effective these days , Vitali looks to be on the slide , one shot could still put Haye away sure but Vitalis movement aint up to much anymore. IF he could beat Vitali the Wald fight would be astronomically huge

Good display, done fully what was expected of him.

Needs to improve his defence though

I think Vitaly would be a tougher opponent for Haye than Wlad. Vitaly has a better chin.

This is what I think too, Vitaly is too rugged for Haye, Wald can be a little more......soft.

Credit to haye but wlad has an incredible defense and a murderous jab. If manny can light another fire under wlads ass it'll be lights out for haye. Vitali on the other hand would beat him but haye may put on his track shoes and win a few rounds. Either way i doubt haye will fight either one any time soon
