This is getting absurd. Jones is shot beyond **** and it seems like every boxer wants a piece of him just so they can say "I beat Roy Jones".

You got Hopkins now saying it's 1-1 even, Calzaghe went and taunted and made fun and beat on him, and now there is some guy in australia nobody has ever heard of with a first round KO over him.......Roy would have beaten all 3 in his prime.

Roy needs to RETIRE NOW......Last night was just flat out sad to watch.

Hopkins also needs to retire too. Pavlik was his last great performance. Roach even said he felt like there is somthing wrong Hopkins in which he showed weird behavior in the Calzaghe fight...and the behavior last night was beyond strange. The talk of seeing spots and fighting David Haye was beyond surreal.

Their health is really starting to look in danger and I feel that from now on there should be no more reason for any top level contenders to even consider a fight with Jones.

Most sane fans know and understand that a prime Roy Jones was vastly superior to all the guys who have claimed a victory over his corpse.

Then Jones Jr. needs to retire his corpse. I'd beat up on him too for a million or so!

Hey I'm a big RJJ fan and I think he was unbeatable by anyone in history at 160/168 and only beatable by a handful of guys at 175(Tarver, Moorer, Spinks). With that said, he needs to stop embarrassing himself and retire. Hopkins has a reason to continue fighting...he's winning. Jones is just tarnishing his legacy.

Yeah the only person to blame is Roy Jones. Nobody is making him keep fighting.

He said he was going to go home talk to his family, He said he still feels he can get in the ring he will. He needs to call it quits.

    True.

But unlike the others, after beating him I'd at least admit and recognize the fact that I beat a shadow of Roy Jones.

No way would I do a Calzaghe and Green, and declare myself a legend killer. D*ckheads

Agreed. Who can Roy fight that anyone will pay to see?

I read that there were less than 7,000 seats sold for last night's fight. Had it been made at the right time, it could have been any big arena in the US.

His marketability is shot. I think Hopkins' bargaining power took a hit last night, as well, after his behavior.

I'm still forming my opinion on Hop, but Roy really has no marquee power.

He should fight me and then retire.
